just a simple update. i have not been entirely absent. I have in the past month assembled and paint another 10 ghouls and purchased another battalion box of undead, assembled and painted the 20 skeletons, the next 40 zombies are currently being assembled and painted and i have purchased my blood knights.
However, my blood knights are being built from the dragon prince models of the high elves. I have seen a few people who have done this and it looks pretty boss. The best part is, you dont have to do a thing to the models, they look perfectly fine as is (always thought they looked to evil to be elves anyways lol).

ok well my camera is being a piece right now, however i managed to fire off a few shots of my finished blood knights. As stated they are the dragon prince models, and i cant take credit for the idea or the majority of the scheme as i saw someone else do it...i can remember who however, i shall look through the posts and give credit. That being said here they are. Also...i left the banner off for right now as i am unsure i want to use it. All of my banners (most anyways) are flowing forward with the winds of undeath flowing from behind, the banner the models comes with is rather big and might look funky flowing forward. I might use a smaller paper banner or i might figure out an angle to glue the banner so it doesn't look silly....Anyways, the pics i was able to fire off before my camera crapped out, i didnt have to much camera time to get the shots i wanted...just the shots the camera allowed me to take lol.

Finally somebody made Bloos Knights with the HE Dragon princes so I can see how awesome they look! THANK YOU! Though I would give them Reiksguard helmets, I love those helmets.

however i appreciate that you like them, but i gotta disagree about the helmets... i think the DP heads looks suitably blood knightish....

Ive got some more Daemonettes to finish (5 to paint, 10 to finish basing). I gotta say, i hate painting black and these ladies are some of the hardest models ive yet painted.

looking very nice, the nurgle colours scheme is especially cool, i think it would transpose well onto a unit of zombies perhaps?

thank you much. ive already got close to 100 zombies painted (finishing another 10 right now bringing it up to 90 zombies) and ive pretty much got the scheme im happy with. I think if you go back a few pages you will see. The nurgle stuff is just green, sickly green (almost too green for zombies )

i feel a lil guilty about starting on Daemons... let me tell you, my zombies are looking at me like "dude...WTF?!" lol
But actually with what i have plus one unit of Tzeench flamers id have 1000pts of Daemons...thats enough for me

I havent had ANY time to paint ANYTHING in about 2 months now...havent had the money to buy anything and work and school have killed all my time. However im not done with the hobby...just waiting for the time and money to open up. I am however i believe done with VC and undead, for a while at least.
I currently have over 100 skelies, 20 GG, 30 ghouls, zombies out the ears, heroes a plenty, blood knights, bats, ect ect ect ect ect. I think im just undead-ed out,or burned out if you will.
Still gonna be in the hobby, however as far as my VC, i think i have enough to play and there is nothing really left for me to paint up. Sure i could use a black coach, sure i could use a dragon, sure i could use wolves.....but do i NEED them? so thanks again guys for all your help, all the advice i have gotten has really helped me in my painting style and tech. I still owe you all an army shot

I read in the TK fluff (6th or 7th edition, can't remember), that the Tomb Kings often disguise there armies as traveling caravans into the empire only to drop the disguise at the last moment and incur the wrath of the long dead upon that of the living north. I will take a look at the old books for the exact reference...

that might solve some of my problems.... As i have a lil bit of O.C.D and though part of the reason (a small part) i chose TK as an "add on" to my VC was because of the Egypt/desert theme....
HOWEVER, my O.C.D kicks in when i have armies that dont have bases that would match should i ever let a friend use one and the bases not match his or her enemy. Crazy i know...but thats what it drives me!

Aw mate what a wounder! Maybe you sell it with some kind of subclause to rebuy it when you have the funds. Kind of like 'pawning' it or loaning it. I'm sure there are people here that would be willing?

I gotta say, i have sold armies before, but if i have to sell this one it is going to be different. It will really hit me hard because ive spent more time/blood/tears on this army then any other ive ever built... sad face...
