@ bard - thanks! Yeah I painted the 2nd one and thought afterwards it didn't look right, need to get a better selection of greys really.

@ Santa - yeah I'm liking the 3rd a lot more, still needs some work, I do love the weathering powders!

So now I have a few things to plan, I am thinking of replacing my mantic ghouls with some conversions. I did a google for alternate models and read a post on here about using flagellants combines with the current ghouls, sounds interesting. After that I will be looking at what to do about the zombies, I'm considering changing the list so it only contains a single unit of 50 and having a couple of units of 10 direwolves. If I do this I will look into what gw based conversions I can do. Mantic combo kit does seem like the best idea

Thanks! I so glad i bought that fw daemon prince now! Well i think i am happy with mumber 3, just have to get busy making the unit.

So just curious how many extra zombies people think I might need if I want about 50 zombies starting on the table? Trying to figure out my budget for vc for the month. For zombies I am going to use free company and mantic zombies plus whatever empire I have in my bitz box.

I personally keep 200 zombies around as a good target number, so I would say at least a 100 extra' besides your 50. Looking forward to your kit bashing.

100! Well I hope 70 is enough, it's all I'm doing! Well I had a go at some before work, seems pretty effective, payday on Friday so 3 boxes of free company, 3 boxes of flagellants, box of skeletons, some pieman and ghoul bits and I will have a 2k list. Month afterwards I will get the rest of the stuff I need and that's my army all done and should be throne of skulls legal

Btw does anyone know roughly how arms and heads you get in the skeleton and ghoul boxes. Just figure out what is the most economical way of getting the extra bits I need for the conversions.

I can't tell you definitive numbers, but I know that I've got a shit-ton of left-overs from both... so many in fact that I've now got a "left arm" and "right arm" bitz box bin...

I managed to find one of these on ebay

This is going to be my new Varghulf, hope that will arrive in time for my day off! I have pretty much all the bits I need for a 2k army apart for the extra Teutogen guard, I have also decided to go with skeleton warriors over zombies, I just need to get some ghouls bitz so I can kitbash my own ghouls and everything should be ready to go

Nice nice vampiress she looks great so I have three of them I would love to do something with what mini is that you used for a base. I know alot use dark eldar so I was just gathering idea's still.

@ Santa - Yeah I love the skin wolves as well, I am still debating about getting a unit of 6 for the army next, of course the problem is what do they add to the army other than looking pretty damn cool.
