I was wondering.
If you cast vanhels on a unit can you use the spell to make a character leave the unit by moving through for example while the unit goes off and does his own thing?

So basically which is correct:

1) By letter of the law they move together as one
2) By letter of the law vamp can leave unit but unit doesnt move and vamp moves the 8"
3) By letter of the law vamp can leave unit as long as he doesnt move more than 8" etc and unit can also move 8"

They move as if they are moving in remaining moves phase so i believe option 1 and option 2 can be done but option 3 is abit gray area as they are technically affected by spell but so is vamp.

What do you think?

Option 3 is also viable, since in the Remaining moves subphase you can make a Character leave a unit and then, move said unit later.

Hmmm never played VDM like that before... interesting! =D

EDIT: There is a reference about this on page 101 of the BRB, on the example images. He can either Charge out of a Unit (not this case) or just Move out of a Unit in the Remaining Moves. On both cases, the Unit is allowed to move afterwards as normal.

I have always play it strictly as a remaining moves and have been known to sweep a death wizard to a flank from my bus and throw a sun down the enemy line.
