Between picking up a bunch of VC stuff from one of my buddies and a big box of stuff I found in my garage I came up with 2 Varghulfs, I'm pretty sure I won't be using them in any lists anytime soon so I was going to see what you guys thought about trying to convert them into terrorgheists. I was thinking if i picked up either a couple pairs of vargheist wings or maybe zombie dragon wings that I could convert them (with the use of greenstuff as well, of course). Any suggestions and/or comments would be very much appreciated. Thanks! xD

Here is a conversion picture of a varghulf into a terrorghiest... looks like it could work.

That's a pic of the guy's 2 Varghulfs in his army, yuckfoo. He explains the conversion in his plog (wish I could remember the name right now). Note the bases they are on are the same size.

I think the rules on conversion are basically the base size has to be the same or bigger, but the fig doesn't matter. But i would call shenanigans on anything that didn't come close to actual size.

Yeah, I'd say that's an impressive Varghulf, but a bit on the smaller side for a TG. Of course, you could find some other random parts and make some sorta Necro-golem construct monster based off a Varghulf to sub as the TG. Hell I even find it a rather acceptable alternative to use "Packs" of smaller creatures to represent what is normally considered a "Single" larger creature/Stat line. So if you had a nice base with say, 1-2 kinda altered Varghulves I'd call that about good IMO.

Although that's me, some people might not be as accepting, and of course, when playing with friends you can usually get away with anything :ghost:

I would leave them alone, they look damn good. It's not as if you will never use them.Don't you want to have the option?
Also, without a TG or Double mortis engine, double VG can be a fine addition to your army. It's not like they suck.
Getting rid of or converting them is like swearing off fried chicken for life...just because you like pizza better. Why limit yourself? xD
