Hey guys! New here.
I've just started a Vampire counts army after a few years of collecting Skaven. I'll be only buying new models once everythings painted and have decided to build my army at the same speed as my brother! We're kind of doing a small version of tale of 4 gamers, me with Vampire Counts, him with Orcs & Goblins.

Right, down to business. So far we have 2 heroes painted each, here's mine!
Vaurn Heldenburg - Necromancer.
Vel'kaz - Cairn Wraith.
We're both fluff-junkies so each unit/character will have a little backstory behind it...
Vaurn Heldenburg is a travelling Necromancer, banished from his homeland of Middenland he has scowered the wilderness looking for ways to increase his power and learn more of the dark arts. Stumbling across Vel'kaz's crypt he began to raise the undead within the tomb before awakening Vel'kaz himself. After a brief battle, many of the freshly summoned skeletons now in pieces on the floor once more, Vaurn finally gained control of the Wraith. The pair now wander towards the Border Princes, followed by a small warband of undead.
I also have 10 skeleton warriors stuck together and undercoated. They shall be in the next update. My plan after these are finished is to make a 40 strong zombie unit, probably combining the zombie box & free company.
