vlad, a ghoul and 3 skeletons

hi this is my 1st post just seeing how the forum works.
i havnt finished painting the skeletons.

if you hadnt noticed i like blood and gore.
sorry about the bad pictures my cameras not very good.

It is indeed hard to make out any details from those photos. The one with Vlad in it has got good lighting but is way too blurry while the others are a bit too dim. Try fiddling around with the settings on your camera, there should be a way to produce decent photographs with it.

I would recommend you to use the GW washes though. While it is hard to see how it looks exactly, a wash is always a good way to add more definition to your models.

Also, I can't believe that username was actually free for the taking, heheh. Anyway, welcome to CN, I hope you'll enjoy your stay here.

I would really want to offer some advice, but I can't make anything out. You should have a button that looks like a small flower on your camera, it will enable better focusing for small objects - also try natural lighting, i.e daylight.

Still they look promising and I would love to see clearer photos.

Ok, I can see them much better now cheers!

Your paint jobs look pretty good, though some areas such as Vald's purple cloak and the inside of the bear hand could so with a bit more shading - maybe use an ink.

I really like how you have done the skellie bones though, with a little bit of blood etc left on them.

yeah i dont have any inks or washes yet i only started about half way through last year.
