Yep, that's how you impale things. Nice work all around! Love the banner with "Tepes" on it, educational and thematic! Have you thought about doing a peasant impaled on a breaking wheel? It's all over contemporary portrayals of the medieval period. It'd give some variety to your (already awesome!) "forests," hee hee hee.
