WHFB - 7th Vlad with Beguile and Aura of Dark Majesty

Does Aura of Dark Majesty stack with Beguile? i.e. does Beguile effectively require a roll of LD-4 ?

Thanks for that. One more question please.

The rules for Beguile says that it is tested for after challenges. It seems strange that it can't be used in challenges. Am I reading the rules correctly?

After challenges simply means after issuing and accepting/refusing challenges, because it clearly says "At the beginning of the Close Combat phase", which happens before any blows are struck (even ASF), but after the challenges part.

I think that what the writer means is that after challenges has been made but before they're fought, beguile can be used. It could probably be read both ways though..

Reading the Challenges section again under "Fighting a Challenge" it talks about them fighting when "combat is worked out"

It's amazing how simple the rules are when you know the answer
