There's a lot of great entry in this challenge and was hard to make the final choice, so kudos for everyone entering great stuff! In the end I decided to vote for @Borgnine and @Farmer7574. Borgine for the great mis-matched look of the unit, and Farmer for the stellar paint job and basing!

Even with two votes it was a really hard choice. I went for @Borgnine 's Greifen Irregulars because the mix and mash of armies' dead guys is awesome. Troll and choas dude are really cool conversions! @Mad 'At 's ghouls also get a vote, I love the pallid blue/white scheme and subtle conversions to some cool classic minis. Lovely contrast on the painting & basing!

Guys, these are all so good, every entry presses the right buttons. Much as I love the freaky, gory, funny and classic entries, I've got to go with @Borgnine and @Farmer7574 for the combinations of conversions and painting. Seriously, I love every entry this time, though!

A very, very strong competition!

One of the votes just had to go to @Farmer7574 , this unit is not flashy or over-the-top, but it's subtle beauty is unmatched! Great choice of colors applied with just as great skill. They may be gory and rotten, but they are still a pleasure to the eyes

Second vote was more difficult - and @Mad 'At just barely won for me with @robtion . I love that damned coterie from the woods, but our host's ghouls are so nice that I couldn't ignore them. Also bonus points for creative restoration of old minis - I like it just as I like restoration of old buildings

It's a contest, so one has to choose favourites, but everyone entering should be commended - for good painting and being courageous enough to post here So also kudos to @Eyeless for his lovely white/black/red/bloodied ghouls and to @Mioum for his wonderful themed creation

Ooof, so many good entries, but I plumped for Farmers zombies, and my reasoning is perfectly explained by Borgnine, much better than I could of said. And Mioum's zombies are my other pick, because damn do I love the style, so well realised.
