o: Where exactly in Montreal? I've played at 3 places in Montreal, plus a tournament last weekend.
Speaking of that tournament, I faced with my Dark Elves, 3 of the 5 VCs attending the tournament.
I can safely say there was everything in those VC lists:
Helm, Drakenhof, Wraiths, Master of the Black Arts, etc.
I lost to only one of those 3 VCs due to poor play on my part (I, a dark elf player with 50 ways to dance around blood knights + regen banner, chose to try to destroy them all, I didn't and got annihilated for it! )
It doesn't bother me when I use my dark elves because I have something I can counter those things with, however with my Orcs & Goblins, I will struggle and most likely lose in the end, it sucks but I can't blame the VC player and you were very friendly to exclude many cool trinkets from your army.
Rumors of 8th Edition + new Orcs&Gobs book have surfaced, lets hope they'll be more competitive in this new incarnation and probable new edition filled with conflicting rules as usual!
