So, what do you think about it? No vampires, but I still think it's going to be the greatest game ever. Me and my brother already deicided to tell Blizzard to go f*ck themselves and move on to some other MMORPG, and this most certainly will be that one.

Gonna be so lovely, iiiiieeeh! ^^

I like things with "Witch" in it. So With Hunters for me. Or Witch Elves. This will be the only MMORPG that I will give a chance.

You got to pay for all MMORPG's I know of, so it's not that bad, you get used to it.

N.I.B.: Witches for me too, heh. Starting off with a Witchhunter and then I'll be playing alone on an Elf or Sorceress.

Well, I'm going to play it (Dark Elf Sorceress) but Mythic did screw up with the Dark Elves atm since they made Sorceress's Rdps and not support, thus we'll probably see a made up Dark Elf melee healer for support. We'll have to wait untill the next newsletter how much they screwed up with the DE support, but still, it's a screw up me thinks (Dark Elf sorceress would've been the best choise for support)

Actually Sorceresses are cold, selfish, heartless and very much enjoy to blow things to red paint while giggling at their allies being slaughtered. Would've been strange to see them as a supportive class, even their spell lore in WH is only made up with offensive spells. So I like the melee-support-healer thing. :)

Their spell lore has quite some controll. Chillwind, Domination. And they got life draining spells! They like to manipulate, not just destroy (btw, all the Dark Elves are cold, selfish, heartless and like to destroy things to red paint while giggleing at their allies being slaughtered)

They should've given the melee healer for Destruction to the Chaos Zealot. And btw, support classes still can deal out decent damage and need to be in the combat to be able to heal.

I meant that she doesn't have any directly supportive spells, like healing or buffing. Control is another thing. ;)
Anyways, it feels strange to have a Sorceress as the healing class of the Dark Elves, I really do prefer the other melee one. Besides, if they didn't get that one and the Sorceress could heal, what would they get? Executioners are too much like Black Guards, and Assassins are too much like Witches. Maybe a Beastmaster, like the Squig Herder, since they don't really have a tank yet, but as said I prefer the new melee healer by far. But everyone has the right to feel different, so I hope you'll enjoy the game none the less. =)

And pssst, she might still get spells related to control. Ranged dps + Control couldn't be more Sorceress. The healing would feel malplaced.

True as it is, all teams are supposed to have a supportive unit. But at least they didn't sterotype it too bad, Dark Elves have 3/4 as extreme damage dealers as it looks now. :)

Since the people working on this game actually seems to respect the WH universe, and because GW themselves are involved providing info, I think we can expect Elves to remain mainly as dps, and the Orchs and Chaos boyz to tank and/or buff-support.

Yes, I'm totally in love with this game.

Well, the support class has been announced: Disciple, aka, soul sucking melee Dark Elf who are the top notch of the Khaine temple because they rip the souls out of people and offer it to Khaine, the lord of murder, for HEALING! Thus, the Witch Elves aren't Khaines favourites (they don't really get blessed and get powers from Khaine) plus the Lord of Murder gives HEALING powers.

Talking about lore rape (and even though this comes from the Malus series, I don't consider it lore as those series got to many contradictions and it isn't official lore)

Psssht, everyone's going DE or witch hunter... I'm so going Dwarf (because there won't be any little kids to annoy me there) and because I love how they have done the hammerer.

Even though my brain screams "DON'T WANT TO ACCEPT!!" I must subdue to your logic. Everyone will be Elf or Witch Hunter... Bleeeeah. Hopefully most of the kids will be Orchs or Chaos though.. No one's taking my Witchhunter. Anyways, I'll turn off player names above their heads and de-activate all chats, pretending everyone's an NPC. =3

They´ve raped the fluff on too many levels... or wait, All hail Khaine the god of healing and life!

As a game I expect it to follow the nice and basic healer, tank and DPS with some hybrid classes which will amount into just another MMORPG. Reminds me too much of WoW as well of which I hate hate hate. No, I wont waste my life on this game. Made that mistake before and it just leaves a gaping hole when you realise "I spent X months playing that?!"... and the "l33t kids"... I can see it infront of me, an elf mage saying "u wanna grp plz? lolz!". No thanks, I rather piss glas.

Exactly why I'll turn of all chats and all. Even /say and player names. Basically I'll play a single-player game along with my brother. Co-op mode. But I know what you mean, I hate WoW as well. I'm so happy I'm rid of it now, all it ever did was making me very sad. I quite fancy WAR as a Warhammer game, it's the only MMORPG I'd consider to play after WoW. You can be Witchhunter after all. FLINTLOCK PISTOLS and RAPIERS! *drooooools*

If you can't figure out how to make a character in a MMO I suggest dedicating yourself to other endeavours, such as fishing. Or perhaps just watching television.

Please refrain from posting insults. -MV

My tour on this fantastic world ended on September of 2009. I am not a fan of MMOs but the only game I would play was warhammer and of course I did it for one year. I had problems with my inner self so I got rid of it :)

I don't deny it was a nice period with lots of fun though.

I played it for a time, but i only did so for Roleplay and the community died too fast for my liking.

I was playing on Burlok the only EU RP server. There were many Roleplayers I have interacted with. It was a great community in overall but it lasted only for some months :'(
