Back to the skaven issue.
I have a question this time. The warp lightening cannon says that for each unsaved wound it does D6 wounds.
Do the D6 wound apply to each model or to each unit.
In other words. If the Warp lightening cannon passes through a unit of skellies killing one skellie in 8 rows of five, does that mean that 8 X D6 or just 8 skellies as each model only has one wound.
Conversely, if the WLC shot passes through a Crypt horror unit, of 3 rows of three does each unsaved wound cause D6 wounds to each model, 1(3*D6) or D6 wounds applied to the unit, 3(1*D6)?
I don't think my skaven opponent has even considered this implication and I just noticed it in his book. Until now he has treated the WLC as a cannon, doing D6 wound / model taking away regen to my crypt horrors and killing one skellie / rank.
Is he doing it right or can he potentially do 8X6 wounds to my big block of skellies simply by shooting through it with the wLC?
