You should take a chance and give it a listen... personally I think it's quite good and I like the new vocalist Anette, but there is much divided opinion over it all. At the end of the day though, just give it a fair go and make up your own mind over it.

Tarja Turunen - I Walk Alone

I got curious and wanted to check out what her solo stuff is like. No doubt she can sing. But this song is horrible. The structure, the music, everything.. simple and boring and horrible. Again, she's a great singer, but I definitely think it was Tuomas's songs and music that gave her the great platform to work off, and she doesn't have it anymore.

I have to agree. Reading the open letter which Tuomas sent Tarja, and it makes me annoyed at the fact that he decided on that. And at the moment I am reading her husbands replies to fans.

But from what I have read, and in my opinion, Tuomas should have actually said it in a better way.

I really like Nightwish's music when Tarja was there, yet with reading all of this, I feel annoyed at the fact Tuomas did this. He may have had his reasons, but I would have rather we fans were told.
