Meh, I think Astrix and Infected Mushroom are better

Infected mushroom are great, one of the first psy trance bands I heard back in the days(believe it was 99-00) and is also the band that got me into psy trance. Sadly I´ve worn out most of the songs(save their latest release).

Astrix kicks ass. Love it, also fast paced and my favourites being Techno Widows, Beyond the senses and tweaky.

Gamma Ray - Land of the free II - Absolutely superb album. Lightyears above the dreadful "Majestic" album. Lots of rather obvious Maiden riffs and idea copying though. "When the World" is a tiny bit too close to Maiden's "Flash of the blade" and half way through "Opportunity" I could've sworn I was listening to Maiden's 'Rime then it turned into "The Clairvoyant"!

Helloween - Gambling with the devil - Wow! This is heavy for the 'weenies and waaaay darker than "The Dark Ride". Ignore the dull single the album is the sh*t!

Utah Saints - Utah Saints - I haven't listened to this for years. It's dated but I love it!

Both Gamma Ray and Helloween's new albums are great, yip. I quite liked Majestic though, even though it's a bit wierd. It takes some time to appreciate.

I did see both the bands live two weeks ago. And they were better than ever, Gamma Ray even played Future World and I Want Out together with Helloween at the end. 4 guitarrs, 2 bass guitars, 2 drums and Kai on like 2/5 parts of the singing.

I found Majestic to be a very messy and meandering album. Maybe I was spoiled with No World Order being such a strong album before it.

Sounds great! I've not seen Gamma Ray since they played Bloodstock festival in the UK about five years ago. I've not seen the 'Weenies since the 'Keepers 2 tour! Christ, I feel old. :|
