Think about it.

Yin-Yang. Good/Evil. Light/Dark. Masculine/Feminine.

All gone, because we have no moon.

How many assassinations were carried under the moonlight? How many dark orders were given? Wars fought? Battles won? People saved? People killed?

We have no idea that very simply, if there were no moon, as is the case in billions of planets all over this galaxy and universe, we'd be very, very much differently evolved. Not just as creatures, but as societies, cultures, and the whole of civilization as we know it.

Hehe, well if we had no sun, we would have no life at all. Pretty much be frozen over.

Well, the only think I can think of for no moon.. No more werewolves?

Thats a delicious existence indeed.

Given the huge impact the sun vs the moon have had on human society, gods and life as we know it would not be the same. Some places in the world would be unhabitable or near unhabitable. The rest, who knows. I am no astro-physicist :P

I'd be more worried how it effect the tides and underwater currents, Britain would become very cold for a start...........

Same here. That and maybe I'd have some peace-it's just me and my mam so guess who gets an earful when the f*ckin' hippy decides the moon looks pretty(and before youse say anything I'm still just 16, so I'm not a sad b*stard lol)

The majority of theories explaining the creation of the moon describe how the moon was once part of [proto]Earth, having broken away from either centrifugal forces or a massive impact by separate body.

So, with no 'moon' the earth would be a completely different planet. I'll let you ponder the billions upon billions of differences between our existence and that possible one.

Wasn't one of them that earth and the moon used to be binary planets or something and that the moon got hit by too many meteors and lost it's atmosphere? It's a while since I saw that show so I could be wrong but I thought that was the classiest sounding one.
