Announcement What's New at Carpe Noctem?

A warm and bloody welcome back to Carpe Noctem! If you're reading this you might be wondering what's changed and what's going on at Carpe Noctem.

The simple version is that with the launch of Age of Sigmar CN slowly started getting quieter, many members including myself going dormant. But, like all good vampires, we're resurrecting ourselves! Partly that is due to the launch of Soulblight Vampires, and you can view some of their amazing models in the second post of this thread!

To live in the new times, we've made some changes to the forum layout, reduced the sections and hopefully made it easier to know where to post. We're a forum for all things Death in Age of Sigmar (Soulblight Gravelords (the new vampires), Nighthaunt (the ghosties), Flesh-eater Courts (Ghouls) and Ossiarch Bonerepeapers (Skellie Super Soldiers). We also still continue to support Vampire Counts in WHFB for all editions, including The 9th Age.

For the moment we've got some amazing articles to share, and we want to see your models, your painting logs, your stories and your questions! Now, to start you off with:

Work is hyper-busy for me until mid July, but from then expect me to be posting full-steam about a particular Vampire painting project of mine.

Yup, you know what it's like when you've got loads of jewellery! Forgot we even had the ring until I found it underneath my socks

in gaming forums, among the most common things people look for (especially newcomers that are entering the hobby), are suggestions on tactics, lists optimization, guides about the best options and so on.

Here on CN, in our tactical subforum, we have a dedicated thread on VC tactics for WHFB
I'm slowly completing the great tactical thread for Tomb Kings (again, WHFB)
AoS is still uncovered...
I'm doing a general overview for Nighthaunts, there's still much work to do but i believe it will be a good point of reference.

Is there someone that could take care of the other AoS undead factions (or at least help me in the task)?
Soulblight, FEC, Ossiarch... IMO it would be really nice and useful to have a complete collection of "tactical guides" for every undead army.

Yes I have been thinking the same and I would love to make a handbook for Soulblight.

Of course! Handbooks and guides in Age of Sigmar are forced to constant evolution.
