Sorry for the duplicate post, i made it into a poll. And i like Night Lords because they are merciless and have a rich background story.
Oh man... I really like the Thousand Sons legion. Their egyptian-sorcerer imagery with the blue and gold is very distinctive, and the exile Ahriman is quite funky. I also like the Iron Warriors, what with all their steel and industrial stripes... oh, and the Black Legion too, since they're also cool...

Hmm. A bit of Thousand Sons, a bit of Night Lords...
But I gotta go for Emperor's Children. I only GM-ed a roleplay about them which lasted about six months.
Plus their Chaos side is perverted, although I've always hated the pink and black style; if I collected them, they'd have their brilliant purple and gold.

I picked Emperor's Children as well. I couldn't do the pink either
. Mine are a nice Ice blue instead of pink!My second choice for Chaos armies would have to be Word Bearers, cuz they have chaos Chaplains.. how cool is that!?

Night Lords here (followed by thousand Sons), wish I had the silly amount of cash needed to buy all the heavily overpriced heads, actually if I had that much I'd buy a new army.

Thousand Sons all the way!!! For me they have the best & most tragic backstory for all the fallen legions;
- Daddy shows Magnus the warp and reveals not only it's dangers, but also a brief hint of it's true power, which plays on Magnus' yearning to understand and know all.
- Magnus tries to harness this power for good, only for Daddy to shoot him down and tell him he's a bad boy and he's too weak to even contemplate researching true sorcery.
His more lame-brained & simple-minded brothers condem him as a heretic at best and a traitor as worst.
- Magnus just wants to win Daddy's approval, and so he sets out to prove everyone wrong, that knowledge and understanding can win through and the warp can be used as a tool for good.
- Magnus forsees *everything* that's about to happen... Horus' betrayal, the loss of the loyal legions at Istvaan V, the treachery of the chaos legions, the battle for Holy Terra, the Emperor's death at Horus' hands...
So he tries to warn Daddy like a good son.
- Daddy throws a hissy fit and stabs his loyal son in the back!!! (stupid puppies!)
Seriously, it's not their fault they were forced to side with Horus, Daddy was big, giant jerk and got what he deserved!:tongue:

aaarrhgghh this is so hard its not funny(well it is but still) 1st would be Alpha legion just because they are all evil geniuses and example would be one legionaire taking down a whole space marine chapter without firing a shot himself and Legion was an amazing book, 2nd is night lords cause being the legion to turning traitor BEFORE the heresy speaks for itself, 3rd is Iron Warriors as they are super pissed about what happened to their legion as it was cannibilized to hold the imperium together and getting no aknowlegement of thier sacrifice. And last is the Thousand Sons for being truly betrayed by the emperor when they had nothing but good intentions for humanity at heart
For me it's a choice between the Thousand Sons and the Word Bearers.

I don't actually field a Thousand Sons army though, instead I field Word Bearers. Their fanaticism and daemons worship means that they contrast with my Eldar army, and they were the Legion which was first tainted by Chaos. I'm also rather fond of their colour scheme.
If forced to choose between the two, I would opt for the Thousand Sons being my favourite, albeit by a narrow margin.
