Which UL 2500 Double ME list is stronger?

Looking for a strong UL list with 2 mortis engines. I really like Mortarch Manny's MoTBA and Dark Cunning rule, seems it would really fun with a periapt. Not to mention 24" Lore of undeath. The question is: is he worth the points in a x2 ME list?

I prefer the first list. Though is drop the spears on the skellies and boost the GG to 40.

to reach 40 GG I'd have to cut the necromancer, the host, move dscroll to MN, and shave off some zombies. Couldn't part with the casket. Depending on comp restrictions would have to vary the max size.

I like the first list. I assume the spears on the skellies are for mindrazor shenanigans? It looks good on paper.

Yeah spears for mindrazor and because 6+/5+ regen possibility from MEs. The idea is to have casket draw DD to stop bound spell and then force opponent to choose between buffs from LoV and debuffs from Shadow.
