Models have such big heads and hands ?

I was trying to do some test models, using some empire parts mixed in with the zombie bits, but it looks awful, the heads and hands are not in scale, seems strange gamesworkshop did this .......

I used the Empire militia mixed with zombies in the same manner as the zombie pirates, but you have to try and have 2 zombie arms or two militia arms as it just looks crazy otherwise!

Hopefully this will be resolved when the new plastic kit comes out... ;)

Remember that those models were made several years ago, back in the days where Dwarfs had oversized hands and Goblins were the size of Dwarf, if not bigger. Games Workshop wasn't as good as making miniatures back then as it is now. ;)

Yes, kits from back then were 'amusingly' sized.

Check out the skeletons. They're supposed to fit inside a standard empire soldier? That's a major WTF.

Ahh thank god I didnt buy any of them skeletons!

I opened the boxes of zombies now, hmm going to be tough to make them look right, wanted a head start before the new stuff was released, so really want my zombies to mix in with the new stuff and not look out of place....

I don't think that the skeletons look too bad if kept together in regiments. Also, the Zombies should be ok in the same way. Alternatively, you could always use the ones that you make now as stock to animate with IoN and either put into new units or add as rear ranks/first to die in existing units.

i like the zombie kit - mainly because of all the cool extras and the weapons.
I just droll at the though of having lots of models with the pitchfork and the scythe!!

Ahhh Scythes

Every one knows that when you remove the skin, the human skeleton stretches........

Okay so im guessing i might as well hold off on the production of my milita and levy units right now and work on the other spects of my army until this is solved

I'm kind of fond of the current Zombie sprue, you can really do a lot with it, there's a lot of extra stuff.
