Heres a quick question... Does GW have any normal wolves out there? Not chaos, not dead. Just normal wolves...

Like the old dire wolves or the goblin wolves? I doubt you'll ever get any closer to normal than that...

I saw them (the old dire wolfs/goblin wolfs) on the GW online store today (they also have the old doom wolf) you can buy them in lots of 5 plastic sprue's and they are really cheap.

Yeah they've released them as a bitz set. 5 plastic wolves for £8.

I'm buying them as the new Dire Wolves are too dead for my army.

The old Dire Wolves are £6 for 2 from mail order.

I use the old wolves, still can't stand the new ones at all.
They may be more expensive now, but I love 'em.

i think GAMEZONE Zombie Wolves are interesting alternativ for GW models

Thing is Im looking for live ones... I think ill be going for the goblin ones... Just hoping that the wolf is all by itself (no random goblins things hanging off)

Only the champion has a helmet on, with a goblin esque feel to it, the rest are real live wolves, with a dire need of being dead.

Wow kefas, those GAMEZONE Zombie Wolves are particularly nice.
However, I wonder how they look up against the rest of the Vampire Counts current range, they might look too out of place.

Are the gobo wolves the same size as the old dire wolves? I thought they weren't (althouygh my eyes may have been decieving me ), I was under the impression that they were a bit smaller than the dire wolves even though they were mounted on the same (cavalry) size base.

The direwolves, I think, had the same body as gobo Wolves.. just the same head.

Well actually not true, they had different metal heads, but close enough

I still use gobbo wolves, still look better then dire hamsters
