My them is based a round an ethereal vampire lord and his attempts to find a body again ( lot of wraiths, magic heavy). No idea if its going to work tactically but I'm more about the fluff.

I have a Zulu themed Lizardmen army...

And horseless Brets...guess what has been done to death here another time.

I want to do a zombie madness army, basically for years the zombies have been lurking in the counts domain and every so many years he leads them to the empire to have their numbers reduced so he can have some piece and quite, because if the get to be to many they start driving him crazy. He dosen't care if he wins hes just sick and tired of everywhere he looks theres a zombie poking around.

My army in the last editions was always Necrarch themed, but for the new VC I'm branching out into more bestial territory. The passage on the Krudenwald fiend really caught my eye, and I'm hopelessly in love with the Varghulf, so I'm looking at those as the basis for a theme.

At the same time, I've been a huge fan of Wights ever since the oldest days, and the new kings with their formidable toughness, coupled with the prospect of grave guard with great weapons...

Chances are I'll do two forces, each with its own theme, but work them together so they can pool into a single army for larger games.

I am hoping you have more of these pics you might be able to share... I like the style of that, very interesting. Concerning ethereal mounts and creatures, I had an idea of painting the models rather ghostly, a la the ghost warriors in Return of the King, translucent and highlit. Similar to what you've done there with your lighting.

Is that a converted Mordheim vamp?

Seconding the request for more pictures of the moonlight army, it looks fascinating.

It´s an old Vamp from the Night Horrors range.

The army is based on the paint scheme Adam Fridal came up with and uses just varaiations of blue and purple together with bold white highligths. Quick to do, but there are better methods for a convincing monochrome look.

More (rather crappy) pics. I will try to get better pics of the 3000 or so points.

EDIT

Vladislav requested a guide about how I painted these:

Rank and file stuff is primed balck, drybrushed purple then light blue. Metals (Chainmail + Purple) are washed with purple/black mix. Then everthing is highlighted with white or space wolves grey.

Etherals and Characters are layered in a very bold way, starting with purple, through light blue up to grey and were the only stuff that took a bit longer.

Have a look for curse of beers undead stuff. His method to achieve a monochrome yet sinsiter look by utilizing misting with different colotred sprays gives a far better and more convincing result.
