Zombie boxes

not sure if they are packed with different numbers of sprues in different sets, but they are the same zombies. GW has only ever made the plastic zombies once, around 22 years ago, which is why they are so severely in need of a re-make.

Ok great, thank you both. I just wanted to make sure as the image was different on the front, and I will be picking up some with the older image.

Although zombies do need an overhaul, the GW ones mix with empire and bretonnian infantry really well. They work perfect mixing them up.

The two boxes are exactly the same And @najo has the right of it, buy a box of Empire State Troops and a Zombie box and you have 40 really nice zombies

Oh, that sounds interesting. Do either of you have any examples of your own work mixing the boxes?

I've done some stuff mixing zombies with greatswords. I'll try and post some pics later.

I would strongly recommend Free Company Militia over State Troops. The Zombies will not work well with the State Troops box.

I second the free company over state troops. I use mantic Z's but the other undead player I know mixes free company with GW Zeds and the effect is very nice.

Thirded. GW's zombies and the free militia are from the same era so they fit together very well.
