Zombie Dragon Vampire Lord Conversion Help

I haven't started building my Zombie Dragon, though I think I want to use the ghoul king model on the zombie dragon. This should leave me a complete fig for the vampire lord. I'd like to add him to my Blood Knights as a champion, since my unit of blood knights is missing the champion, but I'm not sure where to find a suitable steed for him. Does anyone know where one might find a decent (preferably plastic) mount that won't look incongruous with the other Blood Knight mounts?

Stupid question, but is the Zombie Dragon even a mount choice for a Vampire Lord with the Ghoulkin feature?

A Zombie Dragon is a option for any none named Vampire Lorde build no matter what you give him.

The only made the new mount take Ghoul kin as a fluff rule which to be honest is a nice change to them thinking things out even if there are no ghoul kings and they don't dwell in cave......
Just GW Fluff buggering up yet again by contrasting prior accounts.

It may not be plastic, but the classic mounted vampire comes with a wonderful mount, which i think you can buy separately

hmmm the red duke models horse would work.. sortof... but what about converting one out of the green knight? seen some wonderful stuff come out of that.

If they release the Archeon model in finecast (mounted obviously) that is a huge horse and you could mount the bloodknight on that. The model comes with legs attached (I had to file them off the metal model and rebuild for a deamon prince I was making) so you will only need the dop part of the BK.

Brettonian horses and empire would be to small next to the blood knights ...

That would definitely be worth doing! Unfortunately, I've decided to use the piece as intended, and he'll be riding the zombie dragon. But that almost makes me want do get another. Be a heckuva investment, though. Thanks for the ideas!
