Zombie Unit Filler

[Christophe von Carstein]

Hi All

Its been a long time since ive done anything relating to warhammer and well every so often the need to build and paint them comes back to me and it did again yesterday when watching Black Death starring Sean Bean (not A great film but its alright) anyway its about a group of christian mercenaries on the hunt for a rumored necromancer who can raise the dead, and whos village has not been touched by plague.

Anyway what im wanting is some kind of religious and/or torture device unit filler anyone got any ideas or links or pics to anything like this that has been attempted before??

Thanks
Christophe

Not strictly religious or a torture device but have you thought of using a gibbet? Have a quick look on Wikipedia or something - all you would need is a spare skeleton or zombie, some spare sprue to build a cage with, and a tree to hang it from and you've got a punishment/public execution device. You could probably make a good unit filler with one, heck there are even some gibbets full of glowy eyed skeletons in some of the early vampire counts artwork if I remember rightly? Have a gibbet carried on a pole by two/three rank and file and you have your unit filler.
