just to confirm I'm posting Sicilia in chapter 7? Would someone like to escort me in or shall I just post?
I'd second what @Get of W'soran has said on this. You can always post in chapter 9 now, e.g. with the words "graveclaw walked to the [chapter 9 group]. 'lulz' he thought 'i right scared those folks in chapter 8'.
Obviously you wouldn't write it like that, but you get the idea. Write your chapter 9 posts based on the assumption that they happened chronologically after Graveclaw spoke in chapter 8, and then have him speak in chapter 8 once everyone you're waiting for has posted in it. I would suggest waiting a while for @Simon von Carstein (who is active, yes?) and then posting, since Harland has said he is very busy (although he still wants to post) and Archy hasn't been online since October. Really, waiting for Simon is your best bet, though again, if he goes inactive, we'll be sure to notify you a few days before moving onto the next part of chapter 8 that you should get your post in with Graveclaw because otherwise you would miss the opportunity to do it at all.

The character in this RP is Ellen, and I thought you wanted her in chapter 9?
If you want any help writing up an IC reason why Ellen would be in chapter 8, just PM us GMs. I think the planned one was that she was following Simon for some reason; he wanted to examine her bond with Lucatiel IIRC, so she tagged along to the blood keep with him.
@The Dread King Oh yes! This is quite right! You can post in one chapter first but chronologically it's taking place after another post you do later in a second chapter. E.g. Rowhaine getting ready to go to see ol' Nefereta whilst he's still posting during the meeting with Karl! 
And that's Zoë's bio fully redeveloped! Given that Alastor was no longer involved in the RP as a player character I saw no reason to involve the storyline where she was his sister, and so I have trimmed down the history's complexity somewhat to remove details allowing for such to be true.
...Now I am out of excuses besides RL for putting all of my efforts into that sideplot! Eep! I'd better start that RP so I have another excuse soon. :tongue: (Incidentally, the sideplot's development is also going rather well).

The only part I'll be a little skeptical about is the siege of Nuln being turned aside by the mobility gear users but that's only because all the Triumvirate war history has mostly been thought up by Simon already and I'm not sure if he's an alternative idea already thought out somewhere.

Ha! She was based somewhat off Mikasa but also largely off of old Zoë (the bio that I thought was somewhat two-bit in nature in the old bio thread) and well part of the reason I picked 3DMG was because I was joking to myself about how Nuln could have held off Von Carsteins for so long (whilst thinking that my old character was somewhat colourless) and kept thinking of Trost, before thinking...hey. That could work. :tongue: It is a city of engineers after all so it would be typical to create something weird like that, plus Mort was lonely and needed family to hunt.
I had talked to DoN previously about the Nuln bit, he seemed OK with it but of course Simon should know about this first. If not I can always retreat to the old idea.
I think it's a cool idea myself and I like the idea of Nuln coming up with something ingenious I foresee no issues!

Well I did shamelessly borrow it so give Isayama the credit. Mort is a somewhat more obscure inspiration, and a weird amalgamation of characters developed over time from a very generic concept.
