You guys have some INSANE armies! 
I'm at about 2500 O&G (1400 painted) and 1500 VC (800 painted), got a zombie speed bump at the moment. They'll take a while as I like to put the same detail on every mini, hungry & retarded or not.

I actually have only Vampire Counts left, altho I have LOTS of models from other armies, but I don't bother counting those (maybe 1500pts empire, 1500pts chaos, some 40k imperial guard)
Without any upgrades (command groups, shields, magic items etc) I can get about 5000pts of Vampire Counts.
-Vampire lord, vampire hero x2, Master necromancer, necromancer x2, Wight kings x2, tomb banshee, cairn wraith

I was thinking about this today before I even saw this thread actually! I can field around 5K legal with roughly 4K painted. Only that will change quickly since I have until the end of June to paint a black knight bus, 15 wolves and some vargheists... I hate myself sometimes. ^^ I might plog it, first time for everything.

My goal is to have more smaller armies than a few larger ones, I was heading towards 4000 for my VC but then my friend who is my main opponent said he wouldn't play another 2.5k after our last one took about 7 hours...
So I now have a decent 1500 WoC army as well and plan to make a Dwarf or a bretonnian one next.

I have about 13,500 points (without upgrades) in undead. I used to really come close to the 25% for everything and would have a lot of characters, but with 50% lords/heroes, and End Times makes it a lot easier to field that many points with less models.

Unfortunately yes, I only started playing last year and I am still yet to have a bigger game. I hope to go to our local club soon and see if I can integrate myself with other nerds.

@Farmer7574 Oh, well guess it will actually be more than 5000pt collected. The army will be 5000pt with only 280pt zombies, but there will be many more I'll bring in via IoN and summons. Basically start with 4 blocks of 20 zombies and spam IoN with the help of a mortis plus Manny for some summons... and more IoN :tongue:

My VC are at well over 4000 points.... been wondering if I should just sell them. Don't have the time and energy to play Fantasy anymore.

I have my High Lolves at 2000pts and that's where they'll stay. All needs painted, but it's a nice fairly compact army and I like the composition of unit types. Also a lot less precious about fielding these in a game unpainted. With most of my other armies I have a big reluctance to play with an unpainted army.
If I count my Dreadlord on Dragon as Eternity King Malekith (have magnetised a body to represent him) them I have about 4000pts of Dark Elves... In various stages of completion.

Undead legion are by far my largest, characteristically sprawling and characteristically the hardest one to keep track of which models I have where... Based on comparisons with the Darl Elves I would say I probably have about 6-8k. Probably only about 1.5-2k painted.
Currently I've declared "open play" on my armies, so i will just work on whatever I feel like working on, rather than stating that I'm working on X army for Y amount of time. On saturday I was doing some tester models with both High Elves and Undead.
My current background focus I guess, the kind of overarching awareness regardless of whatever I happen to be working on is Nagash and trying to get his summons into shape.
Using the summoning guide here on CN I've identified some specific units that I have designated specifically as Nagash summons, e.g. 14 Black Knights, 11 Crypt Horrors, 2x50 zombies (I know he can do 100, but that unit size is far too unwieldy on the table top), 50 Skeleton Archers (or 2x25). The first 3 are on the construction line, however currently I need another two boxes of Bret archers. The biggest part of this project is a unit of 6 Sepulchral stalkers... since all of my Undead Legion stuff is gothic in aesthetics to fit with the VC look, the stalkers need to by Gothified... I have some ideas such as replacing the top half of the snake with Crypt Horrors, or doing Giant fenrisian wolves from the thunderwolf cav set with horrible glowing eyes.

Well now it would be the Undead Legion that take the crown for me. That's with using the 25% core requirement, that's the most I can do right now but I still have a few core unit that I want to add at some point. With all other units added I was close to 17,000pts, but without any characters. And I'm pretty sure I have well over 10k of characters alone!
The Legion is split with about 10k of TK and 8k of VC. My next biggest is my Empire, wich is a bit above 5k total. The others are much smaller, less than 3k of Khorne Daemons (of wich 1k is for 4 characters!), and my Chaos Warriors and DE are currently being built (should be around 3k in size each).

how do you even find a place for it in your house? That's hella impressive, even more if its all painted with your level of mastery 
My biggest army is definitely VC - and I think it's about 5k or 6k points. Next one are orcs and goblins - I have a bit of this and a bit of that, all in all is probably around 4k, with the biggest unit being 60 orc boyz. Nothing of it is painted and large amount of things is still in boxes

Well that's 17k of Undead troops, then you have to add all the characters
But yeah, 3k is kind of small, if you go for a 2400-2500 list with some extra (and a few extra characters to cover all the bases), it goes fast to the 3,000+ mark
And sadly no, it's far from all being painted (I wish!). My Empire have 0 paint, not even a model primed, as I always said to myself that I won't start them until my Undead are to a satisfactory level (say, 80% painted or somesuch). And it seems things are adding themselves to my pile of unpainted models faster than I can paint them! I've started my Daemons a bit before being sidetracked (classic, I get bored easily by rank-and-file), and now I started some WoC and started painting them before I get too much models (10 Warriors done, yay!). I've also done some commission work for friends lately, so that took some of my time too!
