WHFB - 7th Remains in Play Spells

Yep. A spells that is "remains in play" stays in play in following magic phases until one of these 3 conditions: The wizard decides to end it The wizard is slain The wizard attempts to cast an other spell

a leader for the blood knights unit

Do not forget the horses! 2 attacks each strength 4 is nothing to forget about! instead of a combat lord, use a small 45 pts for the Strigoi Standard to make your knights and the horses reroll to hit... so with 15 attacks str 7 and 10 attacks str 4, with all reroll to hit, do the maths... And I...

WHFB - 7th Fear Check Timing on the charge

If it is the charging unit that cause fear, the check is made after the reaction is declared, because the fear test must be made only if the charger is in range. If the charged unit declare stand or stand and shoot, and the charging unit causing fear do not reach his target, it is a failed...

a leader for the blood knights unit

I believe that is a bit overkill. The Blood Knights are totally able to handle themselves in combat without this monster lord. Just keep some wolves near to redirect cahrges / stop frenzy bait, and if you play the well, there shouldn't be a problem. I trully believe core troops like a unit of...

    WHFB - 7th bound spells

The time WHEN to use the book or a bound spell is very important, since your oponent is unaware of it until you use it. This is especially true for the Book of Arkan, as I use it only when it can make a difference in the game: to get a rear of flank charge, or to get units out of the way of my...

WHFB - 7th IoNizing the meat in the sandwich

That means that if a unit gets charged in the back, that unit is doomed and will never be able to get models back as long as they are engaged in combat?

WHFB - 7th Blood Knight and Varghulf Question?

yeah. Wizards generate one power dice for every wizard level they have. They generate half their level for dispel dices, rounded up. lvl1 = 1 PD, 1DD lvl2 = 2 PD, 1DD lvl3 = 3 PD, 2DD lvl4 = 4 PD, 2DD

WHFB - 7th Warhammer FAQ. Part Deux

Yeah, thats great, especially about the magic resistance errata.

    WHFB - 7th Stupid n00bish questions

Direwolves are unit strength 2 because it is considered cavalery.

    2250pt Zombie Ninjas!

Actully the points are right. You need to pay for 4 wraits and upgrade on to a tomb banshee. So 4x50 + 25 = 225 pts.

WHFB - 7th Rock the Dead

Zombies can also be increased over their starting number (if you deploy them...) without any need to pay additional points. That mean they can lock up for a long time some units

    2000 Points for tournement

Ok so here is roughly the final version of my list, as i need to send it to get verified by the tournement admin. So any last minutes comments is welcome! Vampie Lord Level 3 Dread Knight Red Fury ----------------------- Cadaverous Cuirasse Balefire Spike ----------------------- 355...

1500 starter points - advice please!!!

I would drop the Doom Wolf... one str 3 attack for 10 points wont do much. I would rather add a 6th wolf or save your 20 points. The important for wolves is simply to "be there" as you only need 3 to negate rank bonuses (US 2 each).

    2000 Points for tournement

Here is the new list i have came up with. I made it a bit more combat-oriented. The magic phase will be mainly to make sure in dont run out of skeletons. Vampie Lord Level 3 Dread Knight Red Fury ----------------------- Cadaverous Cuirasse Helm of Command Balefire Spike...

    2000 Points for tournement

I like the black coach for his ability to steal dices from my oponent, but i see the point of not having a lot of power dices. I think ill go with some wraits. I never really tried wraits, i think 4 should do the trick. Is the banshee worth it? For the Lord he is going to join a unit of...
