I would just suggest teaching him as you go. Or, if he's just learning, keep the units simple and add something new each game. Start with just big blocks and mash. Then add in chaff and try to separate his army. If that works, ask him to think about it and try to figure out a way around it...

Indie horror movie; I honestly didn't ask, because I enjoy movies a lot more when I know nothing about them. I honestly don't think it'll be very good, but it's cool to be working in a movie, period.

Disney's done a number of good films; just check out what they had a hand in. They'll do the series more justice than Lucas films. The only reason the first 3 films were good was because Lucas didn't have a lot of clout, and people rewrote a lot of it.
