I'm brainstorming about a Legion of Night list with 4 Vampire Behemoth (Mannfredd, 2 VLoZD and a Vengorian Lord) where the basic idea is to fly them around the board and overwhelm isolated units piecemeal. Using Soulsnare Shackles I want to then limit the amount of units my opponent can use to...

The new Soulblight Gravelords feel like a very cohesive army with many internal synergies, but are there still a few things from the Nighthaunt and FEC books we could add as allies? Assuming 400 points allowance in a 2,000 points list, I had the following thoughts: -Abhorrent Archregent, a nice...

Hello all, I have come back from quite the hiatus. Looking forward to picking up some AoS again. I wanted to start using the units I like the most. So here is a list, I´ve based it around 1500 points SDK comp but with small modifiers (Drop Konrad and a banner from the zombies) it also fits...

Hey guys, I'm going to buy Neferata and I want to put her on a round base, which size would fit nicely? I was looking to buy a nice scenic 120x90mm oval base, would that fit the model's footprint? Thanks in advance!

Hello all, Me and three friends are doing a little competition in the new year. We are going to play a bunch of 2,500 points games against one another. But to shake things up a little we added two rules: 1) The Rare Allowance is filled by a single unit, no other Rares are allowed. 2) This unit...

So, in my past few games using the End Times ruleset (including the new magic) at 2,500 points I have been coming across a gnarly Death Star from the new Legions of Chaos army list: Throgg Doombull, Warrior Bane Blackened Plate, Chalice of Dark Rain, Crown of Command, Shield 8 Chaos Trolls...

Hey everyone, I'd like to share a 2,500 point Empire list I will be using tomorrow. LORDS Balthasar Gelt Arch Lector, Great Weapon, Armour of Silvered Steel, Obsidian Lodestone Grand Master, Great Weapon Grand Master, Great Weapon HEROES Captain, Great Weapon, Full Plate Armour, Battle...

Hello all, After reading Demian's excellent summoning guide (https://www.vampirecounts.net/threads/summoning-and-you-a-lore-guide.27449/) I wanted to try making a competitive summoning army. My initial thoughts were that I didn't want to use Nagash and that the Lore of Undeath can be used as a...

So, the rules for the new Putrid Blight Kings are out. They're an odd bunch, having a statline to make any Ogre proud but they are classed as Infantry. So here are a few early deliberations of mine: Extra ranks are pointless since you only get one supporting attack. They are very killy having...

Hey all, I had an idea this morning working on my Vlad von Carstein, Mortarch of Shadow Army. I am building the army around a Grave Guard deathstar with Vlad and a Tomb Prince (for the My Will be Done). Since my regular opponent plays WoC, I often deal with tooled-up Chaos Lords and Exalted...

So, I have a question about the Mortarch of Shadow special rule from Vlad von Carstein. The rule reads as follows: "All enemy units within 12" of Vlad suffera -1 penalty to their Leadership. In addition, all shooting and close combat attacks directed against Vlad, or his unit, suffer a -1...

Hello everyone, I'm wondering what would be a good load-out for spells for the Mortarch version of Vlad von Carstein. As he can take 3 spells from your choice of Lore of Undeath, Lore of Death, Lore of Shadows and Lore of Vampires. For a default Load-out I was thinking: Lore of Shadows...

Hey everyone, I decided to start a thread about my new Undead Legion army, The Old Iron Legion. I hope to get some feedback and give back to this great community as you guys have inspired many a conversion during my lurking days! I started today with a mounted Wight King thrown together with...

Hey everyone, Just ordered my copy of Warhammer: Nagash and I'm so excited I started writing this End Times Undead Legion Army List. So it's 2,400 points and with 50% lords allowance. Also Blood Knights and Zombie Dragons are awesome so that's why they're in, I hope and pray the new book and...

Hey all, I would like to share a 2,400 pts list I've been working on. It's based of a piece of fluff I've made. The Sanguine Order is an ancient order of vampiric knights. They travel the lands of Old world seeking the greatest and most honourable warriors of the human realms. These warriors...

Hello all, I have been looking at making Arkhan the Black from the Tomb kings list work for casual games. The idea behind the list is to have a shooty magical center with the Hierotitans and casket, with Arkhan I try to get either Doom & darkness off for the casket or a large purple sun. The...

After reading the story around Krell's Doomed Legion in the VC army book I've decided to make a small casual list depicting Krell and the remnants of his Legion as they are on the run following the defeat of Nagash. Lords Master Necromancer - 165 points One of the last acolytes of Nagash...

Hey all, I was working on some fluff for my army the other night and came up with the idea of a Vampiric Orc. I got so enthusiastic about the idea, I went and drew up a small 2k points army list. Thought I would share it here for amusement and inspiration :) Feel free to comment and...
