thanks for the response guys. at 2,000 points - this is the army i shall be using. or at least a variation on it to be honest, i was considering last night that with Ghouls and Skeletons, once each unit hits 30 strong, i might as well just maintain it at that level rather than increase...

wasn't really sure if this was the place to pose this question, but it sort of falls under tactics. how many spare models should i have for each type of unit per 1,000 points? i can obviously work out the maximum i need for a 6 turn battle, but it seems daft to prepare for the best...

is it definately the case that ItP doesn't stop this from working? generally Slaanesh is pychology based and certainly it would make more sense that if a unit is immune to psych it would also be immune to psych based spells. of course that doesn't account for oversights...

not sure i follow - are you saying i need to increase the starting size of my units? if so, where should i shed points from?

one thing i would say about the Crown of Command is that it cannot be used if the bearer is in combat which is a hell of a waste of a lord, and imo on a vampire as well. as for the other characters, it seems a bit too pricy for their WS as well.
