Harrow! Just joined... Lets see....

Im Archon, I have until recently been playing 40k Tyranids (if any of you are on the Tyranid Hive you might know me... Or part of the speartip alliance or Crusade of Saint Carmine)

All I have at the moment as an army I have only a zombie dragon with a lord that I converted from the new High Elf Dragon (i like its look much more than the current GW model) anywho.... I hopefully will have a list posted up soon with my intentions so....Hi once again!

Hello!

My name is Tapani Tomperi and I live in Finland. I've played FaBa for about 5 years and WH40K for 3 years.
My Vampire Counts army isn't ready yet, but it is going to be an Imperial conversion.
After this post I'm going to buy the new Vampire Counts Army Book.

Hello,

I have re-emerged into warhammer after a years break just in time for the new releases, I started in fourth edition playing undead and chose to continue onwards with vampire counts, as of current standing i have approximately 3,000 points of a Necrarch themed Vampire Counts army, and am looking forward to creating a new army of the current edition of models, when my orders arrive of the new box sets, I hope to find my time here enjoyable,
AoD

*Bites new bloods* Seems someone forgot to lock me in my cage, then force me to greet people. Damm you Soviet Russia!

Welcome one and all! Please, wear open necked clothes, and try not to wash! It upsets the zombies :)

Hiho there. My name is Erik, I am from Norway, and I've been a VC player for about 1.5 - 2 years.
I stopped playing VC for a while because frankly, I never managed to win (I usually played vs chaos) but then I saw how they were at the last tournament I was at, and I decided to start up a bit.

I am 21 years old, I got 4 armies (VC, Skaven, Dwarfs and Lizardmen) I got 2000 points of all armies, and I've been playing for about 6-7 years now.

hi, I'm Alex, from England.
just started Vampire Counts, so i may not make any sense at all when talking about them.
have collected Lizardmen (4k), High Elves(3k), Dark Angels (now are Soul Drinkers(2k)), Tau(1.5k) and Necrons (recently sold)
im an addict to shiny new stuff, indicating why i got HEs and VCs

Good Evening, I am Maxim.
I originally started my interests into Vampire Counts in the first edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, after which I began playing Vampire Counts in the end of 6th Edition, building my force up to 1,500 point mark. Now with the release of 7th edition I am hoping to begin to be more active in Warhammer and play more,
~Maxim~
Perhaps I might post some of my Vampires' backgrounds in the Story Writing thread in a few days to come.

Hi fellow vampires!

Me myself arent quite a vampire just yet though i´ve just started to breed an new VC army.
Have been playing greenskins for some time but decided that the dicipline and attitude of orks dont quite fit me and my playing style.

(Many losses beacouse of animosity or horrible miscasts, though many fine victories as well, but still irritating ;P )

So all the tips i can get from fellow VC players are gold wort right now though i even havent finished my armylist.

Im stationed in Gothenburg, Sweden if thats of any intrest to anyone here.

Take care all and il catch you here from time to time!

Hi there, i'm Drax.

i started my vampire counts army when they got their first stand alone army book. this was my first fantasy army, though without many opponents, nothing much came of it beyond a unit of 25 skeletons, a unit of 23 zombies (2 shuffled off somewhere), 10 Dire Wolves a necromancer and a couple of badly painted vampires.

i finally convinced my 40k opponents to try fantasy at the beginning of the year and started building my forces again once the new models were released.

my other fantasy armies include the start of a beastman army, 1,000 points of unpainted Empire and about 1,000 points of Dwarfs.

Welcome to ye bothz. I'd do the nice thing and bite/give you Zombeer, but I'm not gonna. Mainly because... I'm tapped out :(

Remember - Wednesday = Weekly Pantsless Zombie Party, and if it's your first time here... You have to dance!

Good evening,

I just decided to start a vampire counts army, i have been thinking about it sometime and doubted between VC and TK, but when i saw the new vamps it was easily decided.
I want to go for an army based around my fluff (up till now it always was the other way around).
In short it will be about a family of vampires (the Family leader/father will be the general and named Xavier Darkmoon). They came to power shortly after the Storm of chaos/ battle around Middenheim. The units in the army wil be made from the various "good races" (the defenders of Middenheim). More on this will apear in the painting/fluff parts of the forum. But first things first, tomorrow i'll buy the new armybook.

well enough talking for now, i think ill continue on my fluff.

Greetings

Lord Xavier Darkmoon aka Jeroen

Greetings all!

Vampire Counts were my very first army, I personally think converting skeletons and zombies can be a hobby in itself. I went over to the Tomb Kings when they came out, but I've always had a soft spot for you blood suckers. I've always loved the fluff, and the new models might motivate me into painting up a few (im)mortal enemies for my Tomb Kings. Looking forward to some good advice, and hopefully some good fluff as well!

Regards,
Amun

p.s. Thanks to Azahul for directing me here from Ulthuan!

Hello everybody!

Last time I played was back in 3rd edition. Found a box of my old vampires in the loft and raised an army.

I have around 100 skeletons, 60 zombies and 40 ghouls just not sure what to do with them all!

Played my first game this week and with a little beginers luck got my first win.

Hey there everyone

My names Adam and I'm from Ireland. I was persuaded into trying to start a warhammer army about two years ago ((I think :S)) I bought a few VC models but basically got confused, got side tracked and nothing happened. About a month ago I decided that I should get back into this, luckily so did two of my friends :D

So I'm of in a day or so to get the new book and such :)

I would love to have a zombie horde like that! I finished putting together my 60 zombies this weekend, they were a lot of fun to glue together. How big does a game have to be to have 200 zombies in it?
