Hey guys, I suspect for a while my friends have been using magical vortexes wrong. I brought it up at the end of our last session and they pretty much agreed. They had been placing the small template anywhere on the board when casting the vortex, and then letting the artillery dice determine...
Haha thanks. I dunno, whenever I include necros they always get annihilated cause they're so squishy. Maybe since I took my time painting him I'll actually give this one some decent protection though.
I just got done with a gigantic siege game (!!!) over the weekend, and I was hoping to clarify the rules regarding crumble across multiple units in the same combat.
My opponent had a horde unit of high elf swordmasters, and I had charged in a unit of zombies and a unit of skeletons. As far as...
Just put the finishing touches on this converted Grave Guard banner. I was inspired by the book's descriptions of the Screaming Banner/Banner of the Barrows to make a banner that looked like the cloth was alive with trapped souls trying to escape.
Yeah to be honest I'm not super into the paint job on these, just because I tried to go faster than usual and I don't think the drybrush/wash is smooth. That being said, the metal is actually my favorite part, because I layered it smoothly. xD But to each their own. Maybe if I do more of these...
Oh I can be smooth baby. These ghouls have felt my velvet touch. ;-)
Alas, my normal style takes too long. But I'm new to the concept of drybrushing with thin, watery paint. Whenever I've has too much paint on the brush in the past it goes down in way bigger areas than I want. Well, I...
Sounds good... How about these two? Part of me feels like the green could be stronger, and a second coat could dull some of the grain, but I'd be nervous about going over it all again with green wash... Anyone done this?
Hey guys. I'm trying to use Seth's ethereal technique on my hexwraiths because I like the look and I'd like to go a little faster than I normally do. That being said, I just coated two of them in green and I'm not sure how in love with it I am. They're a little grainy from the drybrush and the...
I know... It just seems stupid to me on a logical level. Why would one of the guys who's holding the army together magically be hurt by the magic being interrupted? Is he holding himself together too? But that's how we've been playing it anyways. Just wanted to make sure.
Sorry if this has been answered, I did a search and didn't find an answer. Does a Necromancer suffer from unstable? Either as a standalone or in a unit? Necros aren't vampiric, and they're technically undead, so I don't see why they wouldn't, other than it not really making sense lore-wise.
