@Farmer7574 Thanks! I'm considering tackling that Nagash that's been sitting in the box on my shelf since he came out before long, and the plan for the base is forming. Short version: Hella more ghosts. I really like doing ethereal stuff. I'll need to pick up another set of the Renedra gravestones before that, though.

Wow @Adam_Barrow This stuff is amazing! I may have to borrow the Terrorgheist/Zombie Dragon and Angel of Death conversions though since they're amazing and look actually possible XP I look forward to seeing more from you ^.^

After my Age of Sigmar rage-sabbatical, stopped by here to get some inspiration for my undead Blood Bowl team. Your plog was my first stop -- cool to see you're into Blood Bowl too and those pictures of your army for BitS are epic. Hope you're doing well, friend.

@Sir Geheimnisnacht Thanks, man! And I feel you, I've been all over the damned place since AoS. I've only played 1 game of warhammer 8th since June, been really shotgun blast with my hobby time just sorta piddling around, to paraphrase Vonnegut.

But it's been kinda cool. Wrote a miniatures game with one of my homies, made (and haven't painted) a Mordheim warband, built some Skaven and Chaos Dwarves, and Hell yeah even Blood Bowl. Such a fun game! I had never played until this year, and now I wish I had more people to play with.

So it's been up and down, but still having fun. Gunna send up your team soon? I'd like to take a look at 'em. And thanks for checking in on my plog. Good to hear from you again, man!

I just started on patient zero tonight, using a lighter to reposition skelly bones a bit and, of course, making sure I cut myself with a hobby knife at least twice. I'll probably start a plog for them though I'm not sure what sub-forum BB fits into.

I bought the 3rd edition boxset when it came out and played a little bit, but the pc games have been my only recent experience with it (still going back and forth between BB1 and BB2 until undead or at least necro gets added to 2). Have a couple of friends who are more into 40k that are interested, but I think I'm gonna have to build my team and a second team to get them more into it. How are those dirty wood elves working for you? I can't think of many dudes asking for a turn 16 foul like those wardancers do.

Any details on the game you wrote?

@Sir Geheimnisnacht It's not Blood Bowl without a little of your blood in the mix. I'm stoked to see what you make of them. My next team will probs be Chaos Dwarves. After all these Elves I'm ready for a team that can actually take a hit since my main opponent is playing Chaos. He sure fears my long bomb, though.

We came up with a game that's sort of a mix between mordheim and a dnd party. The rules are in the tin, meaning I've gotta roll up my background/flavor text writing skills. My goal is to have all that work done by the end of the year.

Chaos Dwarves are rad, especially once you roll some doubles on skills and get some claws on your team. A tentacled minotaur is probably favorite roadblock. Since they still retain their tackle zone after a failed wild animal, you don't have to play it too carefully and only risk three dice blocks.

The game sounds interesting. If you ever need someone to give something a read-over or help flesh out an idea or two, let me know -- creative writing is one of my few skills so I can be handy sometimes.

@Sir Geheimnisnacht I thought too about a Skaven team because they're cheap and fast. The fact that a team is so quick and easy to throw together is one of the things that rules about BB.

We're tossing around ideas about playtesters and that sort of thing. I may just take you up on that.

That's one of my favorite things about Blood Bowl -- you can just run with a cool or even stupid idea and throw together a team without a giant multi-hundred-dollars commitment-- it helps with my hobby-ADD.

And, yeah, just let me know. I always like thinking up and dwelling on fictional worlds.

Sitting under a foot of snow here in southern Kentucky. It's made for a lovely day at home.

Dry, my pretties! Dryyy!

@Farmer7574 I think I've got a cool idea for the beastie. Everything bone will be metal instead, so it'll be a giant ghost-powered machine when it's all done. Not sure I've seen a soul-fueled construct painted out of this kit yet. And yep, I wanted something to give the critter another contact point to ease that wobble, and the statue of Morr from the Garden of Morr kit was exactly the right height. I've seen a handful of other Mortarchs using that piece. I think Malisteen even has one is his plog here, if memory serves.

Slow going because of work, but I'm really gunna try to finish by this month's Challenge.

Nothing like three straight days of gaming to get you in a hobby mood. Fresh from my trip to St. Louis I've jumped right to the wardesk. Here's the first of 3 Sphinxes for my Undead Legions. Following the theme of taking all those Egyptian units and making them more European gothic, I thought hard on how to represent the decidedly desert Sphinx. As always, the 6th Ed. VC book came to the rescue.

The Bloodline army lists in the back of the 6E book had an option for an unridden Zombie Dragon in the Rare slot for the Necrarch army. In keeping with my Necrarch theme, I had my answer. This is a Fenryll Miniatures Zombie Dragon, and like all 3 of my model choices (the old metal 5th Edition Zombo Drago, and a Tom Meier Zombie Dragon from decades ago) he's a little on the small side. Expect the next 2 elevated off the base in the same fashion.

Thanks for looking! It's good to be home.

@Farmer7574 He's got great character, something that's a little hard to make out from the one painted model I've been able to see on the internet. I rolled the dice on this order, but it payed off. I think he'll be impressive once painted.

@Borgnine I think he's a cutie. I've got the other 2 bought, but no bases yet. Expect them hopefully sooner than later.

@wheeljack Moar ghosts, not less!

@Zacharias So i just inventoried all of my unfinished Undead models. I...don't wanna talk about how long the list is. Actually, what the Hell, just a second..

That's the lineup. Saints preserve me.

It's a miracle anything has happened other than Pokemon Go lately, but I tinkered with more unridden Zombie Dragon/Warsphinx stuff. All glory to @Shadespyre , who already figured out how to get the super-small Tom Meier dragon off the ground. Built a mausoleum out of some things lying around.
