So I've made a few purchases outside of GW for my VC army and have mixed opinions about the items. From Reaper I got the 'Cleric of Urgathoa' mini as a vampire on foot (some elegance to all that death and decay in the army).

http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/43342-cleric-of-urgathoa/

I also got Mantics 'Zombies' and love the poses and lack of weapons (as they should be), however over half are assembled to hold something in their hands. Anyone have any good ways around this?

undead ogres demons and empire etc alternatives :vampire3:
Just stumbled across this manufacturer on my quest to find undead goblins; their have zombie orcs & night goblins (even command groups), cannibal goblins that would serve nicely as zombie goblins, ghost orcs & night goblins which could make nicely themed spirit hosts and also ethereal undead orc cavalry; orcy black knights/hexwraiths anyone?

They also have some undead vampiric orc character on foot.

Great pool of resources for anyone looking to venture off the beaten path and do an undead OnG force.

Picked up these two lovely chappies from Mierce Miniatures, not sure what I'm going to do with them but they may be of interest to others. Each big enough to represent a Spirit Host, maybe?

Interesting models @Shadespyre

They look pretty good, what's the size comparison to GW? They would work very well in a Nighthaunt army, although I'd probably say the GW models are better looking

You probably already know Raging Heroes, just thought I'd highlight that their female Werewolves are on SALE on 13th and 14th November

40% off they are still 69 euros, but I'm tempted...

This One's Over...
Just scrolled up and noticed this.....:o

I mean, you all know I'm a big lover of the female form, but bloody hell, they just look wrong - it wouldn't surprise me if the sculptor of these was a secret furry who got to go full hog with his fantasies xD

That's a normal sized shield, so these guys are about 2" / 5 cm tall.

Surprised you haven't seen the giant lady wolves before, I did actually buy and paint a set, as thy fit the all-female characters theme of my army.

@Shadespyre So cool to see you having those dudes. I always wanted to get a whole unit of them, but seeing how costly that would be, I keep pushing it away ;) I will be eagerly waiting for you to paint them :)

Mierce Miniatures have a pretty wide range of undead, skeletal miniatures, but they are all resin/metal and intended to use in a skirmish game - so while they're extremely good-looking, getting WFB/AoS sized armies will be quite expensive... ;)

Got to be honest - I picked these up half price and I thought that made them reasonable, normally £15 each which is ridiculous. They are nice models though!

Not sure whether to paint them as spirits (green like my army wraiths etc) or go for a more dark and sombre look which I think would suit them very nicely.
