Wow! I love your VC army. I for one am in love with the gobs and gobs of blood and gore! I also would be curious to know how you managed the blood and saliva effect. Your Skaven look sick too. Great work! GW should be paying attention to this thread. Top notch!

This is easily the best painted army ive ever seen....so much character in the use of colour, gore and scenic conversions.

If they ever made a film....this is what VC would have to look like.

Hi All,

Manage to work out a simple tutorial about my crypt horror ~ would like to share with you guys here.

I am now waiting for another 12 of them to come.

To Moderator : Is it okay that if i post my army list here to get some feedback/discuss as well ?

Coming next is my High Elf~

In total i am working on 3 project at the same time, i am targeting to complete all my Skaven character & Storm vermin before i work on the 80 x NMM clan rat . While waiting for my Crypt Horror to arrive, i took a look into High elf army then i fell in love with the sword master of Hoeth model from IoB set....

So the first test model using metallic color

Then i realize metallic color looks like many other typical high elf, so i try out NMM again so it can put together with my Skaven later. At the same time i also try on the old dragon prince color scheme because i intend to use a lot of dragon prince model convert to Phoenix guard.

After the green color test, it doesnt look right to me as well, because the green scheme will make the entire army look dark...so i try the 3rd color and it turn out to be what i want for the whole army

And then it lead me to this............

I love this Warhammer Online art of the sword master.. it look so badasss !

So this is what i have at the moment.

I am having another unit of 18 coming in soon and then i will work on the army list to add more model.

Do you guys have any suggestion on the base ???

Nice tutorial! Washes are the biz, such a fast technique! The elves look amazing. What about seashore bases? Not water, but sand, shells, driftwood, that kind of thing. Defending the shores of Ulthuan and all that.

Excellent blood tutorial. I've always used some Tamiya Red Clear and my own hair to create the effect. Testor's Tube Glue can give you the same thing for people who can't find UHU in the States.

Great job on the Crypt Horrors as well. To smooth out the highlights and such a bit, you could try a wash of ogryn flesh and some future floor wash mixed with water. It really helps.
