The obsidian thing could be easily explained by it absorbing magic. Something on the scale of the pyramid in the right place would attract a vast amount of magic and if channeled properly it would be usable once more. Raw, uncontrolled obsidian would just destroy the magic. Like in Gelts duel.

And Arion, could you, I don't know, procrastinate a bit faster? Otherwise we will have to try and come up with points, and then we'l do Nagash a horrible Injustice. And he will smite us all in revenge, which won't be very nice :tongue:

So now we are also happy with the obsidian side of things we need to settle on the points. It's currently at 250pts, Arion advised 275pts - comments?

Changed to 275pts. Just re-read it. It seems ok.........but I just wonder whether I would pay out 275pts for it....hmmmmm.

What about the rest of you. Look at it as if you was going add into your army, would you think it was worth it?

I'd definitely consider it. It's exceptionally hard to take out, has an excellent bound spell, and buffs a strong magic phase by making things harder to dispel (very helpful with the bound spells flying around). At the same time it isn't an auto-include, since the Ancient Warrior rare choice (which is one of my favourite ideas in the list) is also exceptionally strong.

Obviously I'd adjust my thoughts after play testing but I'd definitely want one. I actually think it might be broken with a magic heavy list, but I also think that's caused by how powerful the spellcasters are, rather than by this particular choice.
