This thread is for voting on the Carstein Optional Army List.

Please note: This is not to vote whether it fits in with the theme etc. That is what the discussion in the threads is for.

It is to check and ensure we have created fair rules and choices that are not unbalancing, or there is not something grossly wrong that has been over looked.

Please note due to time constraints this poll will close on 07/12/09

A place somewhere.
Okay, a couple things:
Remove the points cost from the Rapier entry because, as the points are different between Lords and Heroes. Right now it's a little confusing.
For the Wight King, up the Points of Heavy Armor a little bit. Toughness 5 combined with a 4+ basic Armor Save makes this guy hard as hell to crack. It is possible to give him a 0+ Save with Full Plate Armor.

Ah yes, I see what you mean about the Rapier - amended.

About the WK Full Plate - well I did suggest at first it should be 8pts, but others suggest it be 6pts? What does everyone else think as I can see Vekarin's point and would be inclined to raise it's points.

I don't think the wightking should have the option for full plate at all really, for one it would make him very hard to kill. I also don't see full plate as a very carstien thing (more Blooddragon), heavy armour still represents being very heavily armoured while full plate is being completely clad head to foot in metal plating basically.

Piggybacking on what Marcus said - Full Plate Armor is a specifically Imperial option, and since von Carsteins are supposed to be the only 'Imperial' based army it makes sense for them to have the option to take it.
