"Bastard." Arkeith hissed as he was left alone.

Although truth be told the swordsman had no intention of jumping like a madman...

"Or like a Mythas, it would appear." he thought to himself with a smile.

With a sigh he continued to haul himself up the wall towards the windows that Mythas had mentioned.

After only a short while Arkeith reached the window and was stuck waiting for Mythas to open them from the inside.

The knight soon found that holding still in one spot was harder than climbing in the rain, although he was easily strong enough to hold himself up he found his grip slipping.

Pulling out a dagger he jammed it into a crevice in the wall and used it for support.

"Hurry up." he thought to himself silently.

Kelarith still stood vigil across the street, watching the comings and goings intently. The rain poured down lazily, thick droplets clinging to the cloak he still wore.

He had seen the captain of the watch enter, figuring that this had probably been January. It was freakish how she could take on another guise so well.

He was now watching the rooftops closely swearing he could make out shapes moving across.

He sighed, folded his arms and leaned back against the wall again. Either the others would do their jobs like true assassins and he would be here for nothing or this would be the quiet before the proverbial storm. If it was the latter he was ready for it.

Soon enough the Window burst open with the sound of shattering glass and a muffled scream occurred as a woman, gagged by her own hair, flew out of the window, falling to her death as she failed pathetically. A dark silhouette grew out of the window frame and looked down at Arkeith. In a brief flash of lightning Mythas' face was illuminated, along with an almost bestial smile. Mythas reached down, small rivulets of water streaming from his fingers.

"Hold on tight, wouldn't want you to join the slave who gave me directions down there would you." he said blankly, with the same smirk on his face..

----------------------

The slave's lower lip wobbled, whether from water chill or fear Jan could not tell.

"M... m'lord I have worked here but one week, I do not know your name, save that you work in the guard tower. Perhaps you should fetch that list of all our master's errr.. 'employees' from your office." she said, brightening up at the chance she may receive a glimmer of thanks.

Arkeith couldn't help return Mythas's smirk as he took the other assassin's hand and entered through the window.

Glancing around before he looked back to Mythas.

"Where are we?" he asked before glaring at the other elf "And don't say in the building. Did the slave say?"

Mythas glanced at Arkeith oddly.

"We're in the main house, what did you think? A brothel?"

He started writing his clothes down.

"Probably best we dry ourselves before we leave wet footprints everywhere.

This is an airing cupboard anyway."
he added absently.

----------

meanwhile, back in the depths of the castle Indoril succeeded in winding the spearman, only to have himself smashed to the ground by a swordsman.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" one swordsman growled, almost lion like.

The other, seemingly more athletic and intelligent narrowed his eyes.

"It doesn't matter. We're the only people who are meant to be down here and this scum certainly isn't a slave." without a moment's hesitation he raised his sword...

and then stabbed himself through the throat. His companion stared in shock, before all expression left his face and he opened his mouth, ramming his own weapon down it before sinking to the floor gurgling on his own blood, landing on top of Indoril roughly.

Aneya hopped onto the guard's twitching body and peered down at Indoril.

"You one of these assassin people too? I've got your leader with me."

Arkeith glared at the Druchii with obvious annoyance.

"It's a big bloody house." he hissed "The one I grew up in was easy enough to get lost in."

Sighing he nodded.

"That would be a wise precaution." the knight agreed.

Slightly disturbed by Aneya's magic he seemed relieved to see Indoril "Finally there you are...... oh wait what was your name I kind of forgot when you were bragging abut yourself,

About time some one else go in I've been here for ages its been so boring though I have had some company, so have you found the Hydra I have a plan"
grinning rather creepily

"My leader?" Indoril growled deeply, pushing the body from his own and snarling at the blood staining his expensive clothes - though given what else had been on them recently, it was nothing - he hauled himself to his feet, eyes flashing dangerously, glancing over Aneya dismissively before focussing on the other assassin. "Shut up, man! You told her you were our leader?"

Within seconds, he pressed a bolt against his supposed comrades' throat. Within removing it, and breaking eye contact with the other male, he spoke calmly and clearly, voice icy and dangerous. "This man is new to our ... Group. In fact, I would be surprised if he lasts through this contract! I have already, singlr-handedly, killed three nauglir since I climbed into this zoological hell-hole!"

With a look of disgust, he tore down his half-mask and spat at his feet, whipping the bolt away. "Get out of my way. Find your own way through this; I'll not have an incompetent fool dogging my heels. And your little witch just killed our best chance of finding the hydra quickly! Why do you think I was trying to incapacitate one of them?!" His voice was now low and dangerous, almost a hiss. Not thinking, he went to slap her.

Having already looked around, he was already trying to decide which way to go.

Mythas finished off wringing his clothes out and started to look around the room.

"Hrm there's a lot of spare clothes around. You think a disguise would be q good idea? I mean, we either kill our way downstairs, or disguise, or sneak."

---------

An inner fire kindled in Anaeya's eyes. Her hand whipped out and formed a fist, before Indoril promptly slapped himself, Aneya didn't stop and Indoril continued to beat himself to a pulp. She finished and knelt down, out of breath and sobbing.

Anaeya regained her composure and stumbled to her feet.

"The... The least you could do was thank me for saving your life. And only the two guys holding swords died. The guy you kneed is still here.

And... Don't touch me.. Please."
her eyes looked almost fearful.

"What a rude bastard" Shevael thought to himself "He should feel honoured someone of my greatness came to help him..... well Aneya, the least he could be is grateful, should of let them kill him"
"I'm sorry we should never of interfered with such an amazing assassin, you obviously had those guards exactly where you wanted them you only pretended to have your High born arse handed to you by some lowly guards" Shevael replied rather sarcstically

Seeing Indoril try attacking Aneya Shevael drew one of his stolen weapons trying to impose himself between Aneya, however there was little need as her magic proved

"What's the matter lord why are you hitting yourself" he laughed smugly before being about to place his arm around Aneya to comfort her before realising that it wasn't probably such a good idea turning his attention back to Indoril

Try that again and I will kill you comrade the others would never know, I owe her a debt so I will protect her until I honour our agreement, now are you going to come with us or should we just leave your miserable hide here to be killed"

"So Aneya what now I am sorry for his actions it won't happen again" he spoke to Aneya in a sweet sounding voice

Now reasonably dry Arkeith turned to address Mythas.

"Well no one's going to believe I'm a slave." he said gesturing at his scarred face "Lords often try to keep your property aesthetically pleasing."

The knight frowned "I am no skilled user of disguise. Could we dress like guards? Allow us to keep our armour and weapons?" he asked.

"I can sneak though." he told the other elf "I'm very quiet when I need to be."

Arkeith rubbed his chin "What are you best at?"

Anger flared dangerously in Indoril’s eyes and he snarled, “Get away from me, witch.”

He groaned slightly, and then moved beyond the stinging pain and glanced around again, taking in where he could possibly go, now ignoring the two who had ‘helped him’.

After looking around, he knelt by the winded guard and punched him straight in the face, breaking his nose, sending blood spraying and eliciting a groan.

“Where’s the creature?” he demanded, voice full of anger and what he thought was righteous arrogance. A viscous mixture of blood, phlegm and spittle was spat at him in return, so he took his knife and buried it up to the cross guard in his stomach, precisely in a place to be both deadly, slow and painful. “Alright, let’s try this again. You’re going to die anyway; I can make it quick and painless. Tell me, where is it?”

Mythas shrugged.

"Can't say I disagree there, I leave all this glorified acting to Jan, I'm a street killer. No more no less. Sneaking it is then. Orr...." Mythas' bright eyes twinkled.

"This is a laundry closet. That means there will probably be a chute somewhere. Rich houses have them right?"

OOC: Look if you like, I'm trying to let Arkeith make some choices rather than just follow Mythas around, no fun for you after all.

------------

The guard was loyal indeed his mouth started to foam and he convulsed and died, oale as a proverbial sheet, even for am elf. He had obviously swallowed some poison hidden in his mouth. Most likely tooth.

Anaeya chuckled lightly, a pleasant tinkle of a noise.

"I already know where to go Mister. I.. Kinda live here I guess. Tell you what, as Arrogance pants behind me lied to me, I'll let you know he stripped himself naked for me believing I was a goddess. Oh.. Then he offered to bed me I believe."

She giggled with delight at the chaos she was creating, slightly stroking her forearm for some reason...

"Come on assassins, this way."

Seeing the strange look Indoril was giving him Shevael quickly got defensive "it's not what you think, I was bored and trapped in a cell. I tried praying for divine intervention, instead she turned up and I ...kinda misread the situation.

I never knew she was a child until after I Misread the situation. It was an honest mistake."

Turning to follow Aneya
"Hey! Since when did I lie to you? Besides I'm not arrogant that's this high born bastard, I am merely....um.... at one with my inner greatness. Yes that's it, being arrogant is just so beneath someone of my perfection"

Indoril glanced distastefully at Shevael and Aneya, before gesturing at the girl.

"Fine, lead on. But lead us wrong, I'll put a knife through your heart myself."

After that, the assassin looked at Shevael again, shaking his head. "I don't care what your tastes are, you fool, but call me a bastard once more and your life will be over. To be foolish and poor at what you do, not to mention low enough to pray, you make me want to kill you and offer your blood up to Khaine myself! Now, shut up and try not to trip over your feet and fall on your sword!"

Anaeya smothered a giggle and walked off calmly on her own.

-

They approached a giant, dimly lit door, black iron, heavily barred.

"Well, all I know is something with many heads lies on the other side. Up to you to open it." Anaeya shrugged at her two companions, almost convincingly innocently.

"If only it was for me to forgive," the sardonic voice of Indoril replied, before he turned to look at the door, inspecting it for any way it could be opened.

The door seemed to be bolted from the inside somehow. There was no visible external lock to the door. Not even a key hole.

Looking at Indoril with a bored expression, Sheavel walked up to the door and kicked it before turning to Indoril.
"Well I'm out of ideas, what do you suggest?

I know why don't you insult it, then that way the door will have to open to stop listening to you"
he said with an idiot grin on his face

The slave crumpled in a heap. "I don't know!!! I- you... Always told us you'd never tell us your names so that.. if an intruder asked for your names... Your the master of disguise?"

The human's slow brain churned away...

-----

Anaeya clapped her hands.

"You guys sure are thick for hired kilers, you gonna open this door or not?"

Arkeith nodded absently as he looked through the stacks of clothing and sighed.

"To the crone with disguises, I'd have to ditch my armour for that and my swords far too high grade for a mere guardsman." he muttered.

The knight frowned and then smiled faintly "Yes you're right." he said.

"Let's see if we can find anything like that." he added as he began to swiftly look around the Laundry closet for a chute.
