Mythas thumped down behind Arkeith and shuffled around also.

"Over here" he murmured, opening a door that creaked softly, light spilling into the room, revealing the typical sub basement corridors of the manse.

"I... Met the architect for this castle and.. Uhm acquired the plans. We're not far now" Mythas murmered

Arkeith chuckled softly at Mythas's explanation.

The swordsman opened the door enough so he could slip out into the corridor and at the same time fastened his swordbelt back on.

"Closer to what? Do you know where the Hydra is?" Arkeith asked quietly as he looked around.

Truthfully the high-born was slightly uncomfortable and wishes that the Cold Hearts had entered as a group.

"Or at least set a rendezvous point." he thought to himself.

"Well, it was here," Indoril murmured, before noting the whimper of the witch behind him. Glancing at her in irritation, he saw where her eyes went and his own gaze followed hers, for once no sarcastic remark ready on his lips, trepidation in his eyes.

A couple of drops of saliva followed a low growl. The hydra was hiding right above the door, clinging to the wall like some oversized daemon. With a roar it crashed upon the three of them, thrashing madly.

-----

Mythas' ears pricked.

"That sounded very very big.. And this area is where the client hoods his animals."

Rounding the corner Mythas saw the dead guards and the open hidden entrance behind them.

"Damn fools have already got in! MOVE!" he shouted as he abandoned all pretence of stealth.

Arkeith ran after Mythas, tearing his longsword from it's sheath with a too eager grin.

"At last!" he thought to himself with glee.

"If they're dead we get their share right?" he asked Mythas just before he ran through the hidden entrance.

"Khaine!" Indoril bellowed, rolling out of the way of flailing limbs and heads. Ears pricking, he heard voices and then saw two of the others enter the room, and then he was distracted once more by the huge, deadly mass before him.
"Shevael, Aneaya, get out of the way!" He didn't particularly like them - in fact, he was close to despising the foolish couple - but they would prove a useful distraction later if he needed them to be.

With that, he abcked up quickly, dodging any attacks that came his way, whilst looking for something that could be used to incapacitate the creature.

Cursing as he rolled out of the way Shevael saw the others enter the room
"Oh There you are I almost was worried you wouldn't see my greatness" he called out

"Yes this is it" he thought "A chance to prove my greatness to the others, it is so brilliant even the gods would praise it"
Picking up a decapitated arm he turned to face the Hydra

"I have a plan" he cried "it has to work" grinning somewhat crazy

"I can do it, I have to, once the others see it they have to make me the leader. I'm perfect it has to work"

With a sword in one hand and the arm in the other Shevael gestured at the Hydra before calling out loudly

"Hydra! I am Shevael Redmane, greatest assassin and you will obey me.

SIT!!!

ROLL OVER!!!

AND PLAY DEAD!!!!"
looking expectingly at the beast

The hydra stared down at Shevael, before its great heads moved down to sniff Shevael. After a pause it snapped and the former assassin was bisected. As one jeqd swallowed down the too half, another scooped down and picked up the legs before the knees even hit the ground. Suddenly the beast started choking on some piece of armour and sword, hacking loudly.

The chains were a possible means of restraining the beast, but they were still attached to the wall, albeit loosely.

"Shevael!" Indoril yelled as the other assassin disappeared down the hydra's gullet, before cursing vehemently. He'd wanted to use the damned fool as bait to get the hydra over towards the shackles which had previously held it. One of the heads had swivelled towards him and a burst of what looked like liquid fire exploded from between it's teeth and was spat at him.

The elf was already moving, but he almost thought that the soles of his shoes were burning. A prayer to Anath Raema spilled from his lips, followed by more spluttered curses as the head followed him, the sword-like fangs visible, akin to glistening, blood-stained spears.

"Mythas, newling [Arkeith]! Distract the damned thing, I might have a plan!"

Mythas sprung into action immediately, sprinting into the room with very little regard for his safety as always. Approaching the leg of the beast he glanced up.

"Arkeith, leg me up on to its back"

Arkeith stared in shock as Shevael was swallowed by the Hyrdra.

"Huh...there goes the decoy." he noted.

He spun as the other Highborn shouted to him but before he could think of an appropriate response Mythas spoke.

"Arkeith, leg me up on to its back"

The knight nodded and ran towards the other Assassin, pausing momentarily to duck the creature's tail with a curse.

Reaching Mythas he dropped his sword and knelt down to cup his hands under the Druchii's proffered foot.

Even in this situation Arkeith couldn't help but think how pathetic it was that he had to help a peasant. The thought was swiftly suppressed however.

"Up you go." he growled as he stood swiftly and pushing Mythas upwards.

"Thanks rich boy" Mythas muttered as he flew up onto the writhing, sea like expanse of the hydra's back.

Raising his Epeiu, Muthas searched for a particularly armoured spot before stabbing through it, hoping he merely angered and not wounded the beast.

The hydra screamed in rage as all its heads rotated to Mythas, who realised just how much trouble he was in and decided the best course of action was to run right at the heads to the neck. There he started swinging from neck to neck like tree vines as the animal tried to figure out where he was, heads banging into each other in haste and necks pausing to reverse and untangle itself. The beasts extraordinary mullnukber of heads was truly its downfall here.

As the heads of the beast all turned back towards the elf on it's back, Indoril smiled indulgently as he ran towards the chains which had imprisoned the beast previously. He grabbed two of them, one in each hand, and then pulled them as close to the large drain in the centre of the room as they would get, hoping they would be long enough to allow the hydra into the centre of the room once it was chained.

If it wasn't apparent before it was now obvious how the hydra had escaped, it had pulled the chains out of the wall and then just bitten the shackles off when it was free to move. The chains were no longer part of the well but they were still very long and very heavy.

Mythas was having trouble keeping the hydra distracted for long, a couple of large gaping wounds and dear marks testifying to that

With a huge effort, Indoril dragged one of the shackles over to the centre and left it right next to the 'drain', and then balanced on two of the bars in the centre, before realising that the hydra, unlike the cold ones, would be able to reach him there. Bracing himself, the elf pulled his legs together and dropped between the thick iron bars, keeping himself up with his forearms.

"Alright! Bring it over!"

"Why's it all down to me?!" the elf bellowed, before thinking quickly. "Why not get off the damned thing and RUN!" he bellowed angrily, "Arkeith, help him!"

Arkeith glared at both Druchii.

"How in hell's name am I meant to do that?" he shouted at Indoril, repeating Mythas's cry.

The Druchii looked up at Mythas and decided the best way to help the elf was to distract the Hydra.

To that end he ran toward's the creature's front leg and swinging his longsword with all his strength he struck the back of the beast's limb, getting ready to bolt if one of the many monstrous heads turned on him.

All of the beasts heads swung towards Arkeith, and Mythas was swung helplessly off the hydra, disappearing down the grate in the centre. The beast fired a split of flame and started charging straight towards Arkeith

Arkeith's hand went to his belt and in a single movement he threw a fan of throwing knives at the Hydra's heads, aiming for the eyes.

The knight didn't wait to see if he managed to hurt the creature however as he turned and ran as swiftly as possible towards Indoril, throwing a zig-zag every so often out of fear of an unseen stream of fire.

Arkeith gritted his teeth hoping that Indoril had a plan.

Because I certainly don't

"Mythas, get back uuuup heeere!" Indoril yelled hoarsely, not bothering t look down the grate as he continued to look at the hydra and Arkeith. "Yeah, that's it! I knew you'd get the damned idea!"

With a sigh, he looked back at the shackles, keeping an eye on the confrontation in his peripheral vision, and hoped that his plan would work.

The hydra wailed as a knife hit one head directly in the eye. Roaring and unconsciously belching fire it staggered towards its perceived threat, Arkeith.

Arkeith let out a cry as the flame rushed past him, luckily the beast's aim was off due to it's pain, the knight kept running towards Indoril.

Though Arkeith was fit enough to run for some time he could feel his heart racing as fear clutched at his chest.

"Do something!" he half-snarled and half-gasped at Indoril.

"I plan to! Like I want to die here either?" was the strained reply as be waited an extra few seconds for the hydra to get closer. He smirked at Arkeith's plight, and then saw his opportunity, swinging up out of the grate and back into the fight, next to one of the shackles. With a smooth movement, he pulls out his handbow and fired off three shots which bounced off the hydras bone-like beak harmlessly, drawing the beasts attention, stepping back three paces.

With a growl, one of the heads darted forward. 'Now, let's hope this works ...' he thought, rolling forward and underneath the lower jaw, only just seeing glimpses of blood-encrusted teeth. His roll took him to the shackle once more and he grabbed it, quickly lifting it over his head and attaching it to the hydras neck.

A roar nearly deafened him, but he was already pulling another to the grate and dropped it between the bars, and then grabbed onto it, dropping down the grate slightly himself.
