The nauglir growled the closer he got, so Indoril decided to change tack. ‘Why kill it when I can just go around it?’ he thought, before backing away slowly and looking for a way out of the cavernous holding pen.

There was a closed Large double door, heavily barred from the inside, where Indoril was. Heavy chains were connected to the door, so it may be too heavy to open by hand power alone, such was its size.

sadly the old druchii kept his private life, very very seperate to his personal life, all that was in his clothes were his money and a small dagger.

With a sigh, Indoril looked where the chains led, hoping they would provide some inspiration as to how he could get out of the huge room.

"Which ever one you want Aneaya " Shevael replied sincerely " someone of my perfection would be no where without being courteous to ladies "
I already know how to deal with this overgrown lizard, I have a secret weapon that shall work perfectly I am sure of it"
Hey if you want you can keep the hydra as a pet if something happens the to employer, though I am very tempted just to kill the bastard, loot and pillage his place then buy me a ship, I was a pirate once"
he said whilst grinning as he liked the sound of his genius idea and way to capture the hydra

Aaneaya looked oddly at Michael, unsure whether to be offended or not..

"Well I prefer the sneaky way." she whispered. "it's more exciting"

"And nah hydra's are probably smelly like the nauglir are." she said wrinkling her nose in the perfect impression of a highborn.

Soon enough the pair of them were crawling through a tiny gap behind some bookcases in some sort of library.

"Nearly there" she whispered.

------------------

The chains led to two great wheels, easily large enough for a human to walk inside. The chains then wrapped around the wheels. Quite a simple treadmill opening device, and one the cold one's could not utilise.

Without any hesitation, Indoril slowly but surely made his way towards the wheel which opened the gates, got into it and started walking. ‘Just my damned luck to lose my cloak, though,’ he thought, shaking his head. ‘That’s something else I will have to do once I’m finished here.’

sure enough the gate opened, however with an extremely large groaning of rusting metal on rusting metal. It wasn't going to be a subtle exit.

Indoril grimaced at the loud noise that emanated from the doors, but determinedly walked on, his pulse steadily increasing as the opening got wider and wider. When he could fit through it, he got off the treadmill-contraption and darted through them, glancing around and taking in all the details of where he now found himself.

Following Aneaya Shevael could only think of mountains of gold and his fool proof plan to subdue the Hydra
"Hopefully I can get it done before the others, then it will show how much of a legendary assassin I am they might even make me the leader"
"Don't worry I'm right behind you" he whispered

The room Indoril emerged in to was a long, tall corridor, with rich and lavish tapestries adorning either side. There seemed to be more of the same type of door all along the corridor, maybe ten or more in each direction. Left headed into a dead end, right to a T-junction with another corridor, where some guards had just turned down to investigate why one of the doors had been inexplicably opened.

------------

Soon enough Aneaya paused and shoved what appeared to be books but was actually a hidden door, they emerged in a corridor similar to the one Indoril inhabited, except it was darkly lit with torches, the naked flames casting moving shadows of the pair. A pair of guards could be seen turning off the corridor just as a loud grating noise echoed down.

Indoril sighed as he saw the number of doors around him, before spotting the guards. A smile bloomed on his face. 'Aha, the fools,' he thought. His stiletto blade slipped into his hand and he eased it off the bar as he started to run forward. Feeling it's weight, he hmmed for a second. 'Not the best for throwing he thought unhappily, before he reached the guards and rolled beneath a swift swing of a sword, before springing up to his feet and stepping to the left, dodging a stab of the spear. He slammed down with his forearm and kicked out swiftly, hoping to wind the spearman.

Arkeith swiftly followed Mythas up the wall, keeping a close eye on the other assassin so that he could replicate the druchii's movements however in the end he allowed Mythas to help him over the wall.

Once on top of the fence the swordsman grinned.

"Don't count me out yet, I'm willing to give it a go."

Mythas looked down with, he couldn't deny it, a little suspicion. "Alright, don't hold me responsible if you fall to your death, your armour certainly doesn't seem suited to it.".

Glancing along Mythas caught sight of a ladder resting on the ground level. "If we can get to that ladder we can cross the gap between the wall and the manse undetected." He whispered. He glanced down over the ledge of the roof, a good couple of stories up, before stepping silently off the edge. A second later a dull thud and the sound of a blade cleaving straight through a man resonated dully through the squalor. Mythas shimmied the ladder up the side of the wall, the ending falling just short of where Arkeith was stood.

"You're probably going to have to climb down a bit to pick up the ladder." Mythas intoned dully.

Arkeith raised an eyebrow at the other assassin.

"Leather Armour wore by an extremely agile, and well bred, elf isn't suited to such simple climbing? What could make him think I can't climb?" he thought with annoyance.

Just then his nose started to ache reminding him of his earlier...accident.

"Fair enough." he muttered to himself.

Making his way slowly to the edge of the roof, after checking he was holding on tightly with one hand, until he could reach the ladder and the muscular druchii pulled it up with ease.

Mythas hopped nimbly up the side of the wall, landing lightly on his feet on the rooftop, balancing carefully across the new made ladder-bridge, he turned around to regard the other elf. His hood dripped an almost constant stream from the downpour of rain still going on.

"You coming with me then?"

Arkeith grinned.

"That sounds good, unlike some silly Druchii I don't mind working beside others." he said.

"As long as they go first." he added jokingly.

"Don't want a knife in the back." he thought to himself seriously.

He gestured for Mythas to go continue over the ladder.

"After you my senior Assassin." Arkeith said softly.

Arkeith put a single foot on the Ladder ready to move once Mythas had crossed.

As if reading my mind Mythas replied coldly. "Because you don't want to be betrayed by me, I get it."

his mood instantly returning to placid, Mythas shrugged.

"I'd do the same to be honest, I'm a very paranoid person."

Mythas crossed the ladder slowly, hunched low. Holding the ladder steady at the other side he waited patiently, hanging from the side of a window like a sloth.

"I'm not senior" he added.

"That was what I implied, yes." the noble said with his usual smirk.

Arkeith crossed the ladder, staying low, once he reached Mythas he looked at the other Druchii still smirking.

"Of course you're the senior assassin here, I've only been in the Cold Hearts for...hours." he said softly, still talking jokingly although clearly distracted as he looked around.

"I have to admit, I'm curious about where the others are...although I understand the group is run quite loosely...if you can even use the term run." he added without really thinking.

Turning with a more serious expression on his face he looked questioningly at Mythas "Where now?"

Mythas shrugged again.

"They're all capable enough of getting in on their own I reckon. As for seniority, that is a thing imposed by the lucky upon the less lucky, for their own egos' sakes."

Kicking the ladder down as a means to stop them being tailed, Mythas pointed up the side of the wall

"This way."

Not waiting for Arkeith he started scaling the wall with surprising speed, hoisting himself up on loose ledges and cracks.

Arkeith muttered grumpily about about hierarchies but followed Mythas as he scaled the wall.

Arkeith was naturally an extremely agile and sure-footed elf but he lacked the other druchii's skill in urban exploration.

So although capable the knight moved at a much slower pace as the two assassins scaled the wall.

Mythas looked to his right, seeing a rook jutting out of the house, with a window open on the side. Looking down with a little trepidation despite his experience, he pressed his right foot hard against the wall and launched himself sideways across the wall.

Instantly he realised this was a bad idea, the wind was blowing him away from the house entirely. Fighting the urge to yell, Mythas grimaced and caught the corner of the jutting out section in both hands, his momentum and the rain tearing one hand free.

Mythas lay there hanging from one hand, trying to slow his breathing.

"Errr I wouldn't recommend that jump to you." he glanced upwards, "There are some windows further up, I'll open one for you." without waiting for consent he swung indoors and slammed the window shut. Arkeith was alone.

---------------

Almost perfectly, a pair of slaves approached Jan. Two badly dressed and shivering humans, their hair a mess from the rain, hands and feet blue.

"Welcome back M'Lord, can wd be of assistance?"
