I enjoyed this quite a lot!
Although I did find some of Vlad's power's to be a little ridiculous.

Well Dracula is associated with bats...what Vampire doesn't have a few bats (a Dracula type one anyway)?
I have no issues with the other bat-related moves but there's a fair difference between shapeshifting into a bat and punching the ground to make a huge batswarm smash into people.

Had to jump on the boards to discuss this. Movie was epic.
When he first figures out he has bad-speed-shifting powers... the look on his face is epic. I'm gonna have a hard time watching Hobbit 3 in theaters now without thinking, "Why doesn't Bard the Bowman just turn into bat form and kick some butt?"
The final fight with the vampires running rampant was just glorious.

I thought it was a fairly dry vampire film, as in, there wasn't anywhere near enough blood! I think the fact that it's a 15 film (in the UK anyway), and thus couldn't have a lot of blood or gore in it, which is a shame. Other than that, I thought some of the set designs were a bit meh, especially castle Dracula, which didn't even look like a castle. Overall, good film, but it could have been better.
