Entry Thread. Turning the World to Darkness: Blood Red

After a brief hiatus, the challenge is now back!

The Price: The winner earns the glory and a place in the Hall of Infamy thread. The winner also gets to selected the theme of the next painting challenge (note that the winner only has a weekend to present the decision, so please be prepared and available).

The Rules:

• All models entered should not have been painted more than a year ago from the date the entry thread is closed. This will not be enforced but violators will politely be asked to retract their entry.
• Max one entry per person.
• Max 3 images per entry (including pictures in collages), of reasonable size.
• No voting for your own entry.
• No model can be entered into several challenges.
• For every started set of 5 entries, each member gets a single vote (for example: with 7 entries everyone would get 2 votes).
• Open entries and open voting. Everyone can see who painted what.
• Models can be of any manufacture and conversion, but must fulfil all the criteria of the given theme.
• If no decision on the next theme is made within a week of the winner announcement, the decision falls to Mad 'At.

The Theme: Blood Red

This is a very open theme. You are free to enter any undead models you'd like as long as you feel it is appropriate for the theme Blood Red.

Week 7, Friday: Entry thread closed. Voting thread opened.
Week 8, Friday: Voting thread closed. Result announced. Winner asked about next theme.

This thread is now open for people to post their entries. Please state a name of the miniature along with the pictures (ex: Vampire Lord or Countess Squigmachine). The thread closes on the 2nd of June at (roughly) 23:59 CET.

I like the idea of the theme, I still have no idea what to do with it though . One question btw, TtWtD means a conversion or could it be a VC origin unit/model/diorama too?

Vampiress on (Carmine) Zombie Dragon

Paint colours used include Red Gore and Blood Red, so I hope that qualifies

@Theerteen Yes, 2nd of June is the deadline. You can enter with a model converted into being undead or an undead origin model.

I will enter my dragon here, no backup plans. Maybe that will motivate me to finish it on time

Just rememberd that a friend gifted me Nethyrmaul the Undying some time ago, so we could start a ZDragon challenge :tongue: but I'll stick with my first idea, and hope to get it started today.

The theme of this challenge is pretty clear: Blood Red.
I't's just that "dragons" is the unofficial add-on.

@Shadespyre I don't, although I liked the idea of the Dragon Challenge 6, boy, that's a number :| you don't have a group shot lying around somewhere by chance?
But as I said, I'll turn in something completely different, started modelling yesterday. Cheers to you guys for keeping this challenges and my motivation up:bowdown:

Looked at the date at which I painted some red stuff, and looks like they're a bit older than the one-year requirement Too bad as I had a rather sweet Walach on Bone Dragon that I could have entered to keep the "Dragon" unofficial theme going (the rider is red, not the dragon)

Sadly I have barely anytime for the hobby these days (I'm mostly sculpting non-Warhammer stuff for friend's birthday these day, at least I'm practicing my sculpting ) so I won't be able to create anything new for quite a while.

@Mad 'At & @Borgnine , I have a quick question, which would completely change my entry... is this just about single models and/or units, or do small dioramas count as valid entry too?

@Theerteen As long as you have an undead model in that diorama, it's good - we wouldn't want to limit people's creativity
