And here it comes, the forth challenge.

The Price: The winner earns the glory and a place in the Hall of Infamy thread. The winner also gets to selected the theme of the next painting challenge (note that the winner only has a weekend to present the decision, so please be prepared and available).

The Rules:

• All models entered should not have been painted more than a year ago from the date the entry thread is closed. This will not be enforced but violators will politely be asked to retract their entry.
• Max one entry per person.
• Max 3 images per entry (including pictures in collages), of reasonable size.
• No voting for your own entry.
• No model can be entered into several challenges.
• For every started set of 5 entries, each member gets a single vote (for example: with 7 entries everyone would get 2 votes).
• Open entries and open voting. Everyone can see who painted what.
• Models can be of any manufacture and conversion, but must fulfil all the criteria of the given theme.
• If no decision on the next theme is made within a week of the winner announcement, the decision falls to Mad 'At.

The Theme: Fleshy Undead Hero on Foot

Any single undead character that is on foot and has flesh. A hero is defined by anything with the Hero keyword in AoS or anything that was a character in 8th edition. On foot means it cannot have a mount. Fleshy means that it must have flesh on its bones. Examples include Vampires, Necromancers, Liches, Strigoi, Crypt Haunter Courtiers and Crypt Infernal Courtiers.

Week 7, Friday: Entry thread closed. Voting thread opened.
Week 8, Friday: Voting thread closed. Result announced. Winner asked about next theme.

This thread is now open for people to post their entries. Please state a name of the miniature along with the pictures (ex: Vampire Lord or Countess Squigmachine). The thread closes on the 23rd of September at (roughly) 23:59 CET.

I expected a 'spellcaster' theme, but this is even better, as the next thing on my list meets the requirements This should get many entries

i haven't picked up a paint brush in quite some time. maybe it's time to go back to the workshop =D this is tempting and i've got more then 1 character that fits the theme to do =]

Exactly how much flesh is required? Some of my WiP characters have varying amounts..

@Undead4Life: I think we are pretty chill about it. As long as the bones aren't picked clean like on the GW Wight king. If you are worried you could PM a picture to @Farmer7574 as it is he who has the final call.

Dammit. I'm working on an Wight King BSB at the moment. Maybe I can advance my Necromancer Lord in the priority queue...

Well, about time I get off my backside and throw my hat in the ring! Been on the site long enough.

So heres my yet un-named vamp lord. Pleasantly surprised the photos are alright, the camera is rather old.

Thanks. the blood is just a good drop off game ink "Rojo Red". I'm pretty pleased with it, too. looks really wet in reality as well.

Finished my model very early on, but was lazy about taking pictures (and having other stuff on my work place), but today I managed to take some pictures!

@Devour the Cabbage Nice take on Isabella, she looks great in red armour - kinda like a female blood knight on foot.

@der vued Great way of basing the corpsemaster. I was considering chopping off the bottom part of the cloak, but it looks too cool to do so. Floating steps is one great way to make him a foot character.

@Mioum Lovely use of colours! The pallid skin goes nicely with the navy blue/green/gold scheme.

Ha, I like that one! I've got the same model painted in bright blue and yellow in my Empire army, quite a contrast.

I'm not going to finish another model before the deadline, so I guess I'll enter my Smiling Vampire Assassin for this time around...
