Entry Thread. Turning the World to Darkness: Undead Character 2018

All right, ladies and gentlemen, it's time for another competition! I am sorry for the delay!

Theme: Undead Character

The theme is once again pretty open, the idea was thrown in by @Farmer7574 . Any undead character will do - a vampire, a liche, a necromancer, a wight, a ghost, you know the drill. It could also be a pair, a trio or whatever group of them, why not - as long as they are not just a rank-and-file unit.

Original models and conversions allowed.

The Prize: The winner earns the glory and a place in the Hall of Infamy thread. The winner also gets to select the theme of the next painting challenge (note that the winner only has a weekend to present the decision, so please be prepared and available).

The Rules:

• All models entered should not have been painted more than a year ago from the date the entry thread is closed. This will not be enforced but violators will politely be asked to retract their entry.
• All miniatures presented must have been painted by the entrant.
  
• Max one entry per person.
• Max 3 images per entry (including pictures in collages), of reasonable size.
• No voting for your own entry.
• No model can be entered into several challenges.
• For every started set of 5 entries, each member gets a single vote (for example: with 7 entries everyone would get 2 votes).
• Open entries and open voting. Everyone can see who painted what.
• Models can be of any manufacture and conversion, but must fulfil all the criteria of the given theme.
• If no decision on the next theme is made within a week of the winner announcement, the decision falls to the competition organizer.

Week 7, Sunday: Entry thread closed. Voting thread opened.
Week 8, Friday: Voting thread closed. Result announced. Winner asked about next theme.

This thread is now open for people to post their entries. Please state a name of the miniature along with the pictures (ex: Vampire Lord or Countess Squigmachine). The thread closes on the 20th of May 2018 at (roughly) 23:59 CET.

EDIT: Because of my absence, I am moving the deadline to !! 27th of May !!

Ok, planned, converted, built, and painted this in last couple of hours. Hopefully everyone likes it. It is ambiguous for a reason, can be played as a Necro, a GK, or a VL. Had a lot of fun with it.

(Yeah I know the pics aren't best quality, but I messed up the blood sprinkles by adding them before coating, so I hope that brings back some of the atmosphere)

I'd say that the missin has been accomplished.
I can easily imagine this guy making an appearance in the movie "The descent". Perfect!

This weekend I'm going to start paint my brand new Keldrek, which will be my entry.

Just to be honest about it.
I'm going to use this model also as my entry for the painting challenge on Khemri forum... given that both the competitions are friendly and offer no prizes, I hope is not a problem.

@Unas the slayer Good to see some good old Keldrek here And no problem with posting the same mini for two competitions First, I don't see why not and secondly - you allowed it for me and Mioum back then, it would be rude for me to disallow it now

Here we are, let our enemies tremble, while Keldrek rises from the mist and strikes them with all the power of Death.

I've followed the "official" instruction to paint him, and all in all I'm satisfied. The detail was taken under sunlight, and it's weird how colors seems to be different.

A nice mixed bag of entries so far - lovely work chaps.

I've started a simple wight king as a substitute for my entry after realizing I won't have time to finish my Wight BSB or winged vamp that I'd originally intended for this comp. Hopefully will have him done over the next few days.

Holy shit, I just realized that I will be away on the 20th and I won't be able to set up the voting thread. I can extend the deadline to one week later, on the 27th of May.

I don't know if that makes any difference to you @Farmer7574 , especially after I realized it so late, but maybe it does and that would be cool...
