Okay, sounds reasonable Sen. I was thinking of something else though. How about cutting a Necro Knight and bring the Harbingers to 4? At the moment I'm thinking this list is the most optimized but let me know what you think:

LORDS
Vampire Lord: Barded Nightmare, Lance, Shield, Talisman of Preservation, Heavy Armour, Other Trickster's Shard, Red Fury, Quickblood, Level 4 Lore of Vampires

HERO
Wight King: Barded Skeletal Steed, Great Weapon, Nightshroud, Dragonbane Gem
Tomb Prince: Chariot, Armour of Destiny, Shield, Spear

CORE
6 Chariots: FC, Banner of Swiftness
16 Skeleton Horsemen: FC, Light Armour

SPECIAL
1 Spirit Host
1 Spirit Host
4 Harbingers
3 Necropolis Knights: FC

RARE
4 Archai

= 2497 pts

It might make them too fragile but with construct, morghast aura and a banner they might be fine. I'm not all too sure they will be ok but it could be viable, it will need playtesting. I prefer the previous setup with 4 knights and 3 harbingers.
Also, what is your meta like?

Option 1: Sword of Might over the lance. I am a fan of having a constant strength buff on my fighty characters.
Option 2: Drop the DBG and some kit from the prince for 2 fell bats.

I, too, play in a gun-happy meta, one with maximized bolt throwers/cannons etc. It's challenging when backed up by a %^*& ton of steadfast units and proper magic support though it can be rewarding when you perform well against hard lists.

EDIT: Option 3: Take 2 more horsemen

I love your input good sir!

Option 1: This won't happy since I need my mundane weapons to slaughter WL hordes with Banner of the World Dragon (that deathstar is more or less what my bus is built to wreck :D )
Option 2: I don't think I can drop kit on the prince, he is pretty naked as is.
Option 3: This is viable... but it got me thinking of a fourth option.
Option 4: Drop 2 Horsemen, the musician on the Chariots and add one chariot.

Three knights isn't enough. I'd go with 4. You could also drop the champion...he's cool to protect a flank but not suuuper necessary. Personally I prefer running 5 but I understand it's expensive.

Why Sword of Might on the VL? S6 doesn't cut it for carving through the things he needs to kill. Ogre Blade at least! Though personally I'd rather have a second VL in that bus.

I wouldn't take DBG off the Prince, if only for Fiery Convocation. Double wounds from flaming stuff is obnoxious on him, and 5 points is really not much to spare.

Also I'm not such a huge fan of the big brick of chariots. I'd rather have two smaller units of 3 (one with flaming banner) and spend the points for the prince on vargheists. Small units of chariots are great supporting units. One big unit of chariots is a really fragile hammer that can't take a charge from anything. Your opponents just need to chaff it and you're messed. And even if it wrecks shit it generally won't break them and then gets ground out in subsequent turns. What's the point of a 600 point unit that can't operate on its own?

Here to help, mate.

Option 1: fair enough

Option 2: don't have my book on me but dropping shield and spear might be enough. Keep AoD of course. He's not one your main sources of damage so stripping him (stripping a mummy...? Ewww) won't impact your army too much.

Option 4: I wouldn't do it. Personally, I think TK chariots are fun but shouldn't be thought of as a unit that will be a consistent thorn in the side of your foes.
Keep the numbers in your bus as you will need them.
Now, I use units of 6, 4 or 3 or I used to, rather, as I don't feel they are competitive enough in a UL list ,but I wouldn't invest anymore points into them.

@Pirate
I prefer ogre blade as well but points are hard to come by in this list.

The WK has the gem, the prince has armor of destiny.

Come to think of it, give the prince armor of fortune and the gem. This will give you a few more points to mess around with. He's T5 with 3W so I'm not worried about kitting him that way.

1. I have to press the point of NOT having a magical weapon in the bus. If I don't have a mundane weapon on my VL I am ***** against BotwD (which I face often).
2. Dropping a spear and a shield would mean: -1 S on the charge and -1 AS... for 4 points? A bad tradeoff if you ask me.
3.There has never been a DBG on the Prince (would be nice though). It is on my WK. The Prince has Armour of Destiny. Maybe I should switch it for Armour of Fortune + DBG as Seneschal has pointed out, not sure the -1 to ward save in general is worth it though.
4. I agree that getting many chariots is probably not the best I can do with this list... but then it leads me back to cutting points for my third spirit host.
5. While we're at cutting the fat off the list, what about dropping a level off my VL?
