Helena wouldn't have said "please", but other than that I could see the scenario happening. Regardless, I think there'll be opportunity for mischief whichever path she ends up on...

And while I had in mind that Helena isn't one to hold grudges for very long, Niklaus does come off as a killjoy with his diplomatic reasoning. And that's one thing she doesn't like. :)

@Get of W'soran and @The Dread King, do we have a scheduled time for when the new chapters will go live?

He's supposed to be cold, with a few dry jokes here and there. He's not trying to be that much of a killjoy, he can have fun, just he tries to keep...incidents from happening. He tries to be logical and reasonable. He would defend Helena if someone said something about her, as he has earlier in the chapter. It's just unfortunate for him that he's been the one to step in whenever Helena goes off on one of her tangents.

He's not entirely heartless - he really didn't want to kill his sister, and there are some other things he's done which he probably wouldn't have if he was just a bundle of logic and calculation.

Cold and calculating vs haughty and impatient; there's bound to be some friction there. I think we'll all get along in the end, though. Like one big, dysfunctional family.

@MasterSpark Then Mort would be the creepy old uncle!

As for a timetable, no, not yet. We want to let all RPers who are active express their opinions, which has mainly been completed. We also want to get mello's bio out of the way, and introduce ellen if this does not take too long. Also, we want to let @Disciple of Nagash catch up and seize the directive before moving onto the next chapters, although if it becomes apparent that life has got on top if him again then we will be happy to move on. We want to deal with other bios too, although that's not the highest of priorities. I will make some time for all this tomorrow and it is very possible that we could have chapter 6 wrapped up within 1-2 weeks from now.

Oh, and if you were wondereding about my limited vocabulary in this post, as well as poor grammar and spelling, it's a phone post. Damn my butterfingers!

Let's just say I would not want Morturion as my uncle. Or maybe I would...

'Uncle Morturion, do like my new soulbinder?'
'Excellent, nephew, excellent. You'll be a liche in no time.'

Hey guys, I've made a little change in Helena's bio. I've changed the blurb for her magical skills from

previous bio said:
Helena never received any tutoring on magic beyond the most basic of practices, so she has developed her skill and power on her own through experimentation and stolen books and other artefacts. Her magic can be unpredictable for opposing wizards but also unrefined and clumsy.

to

new bio said:
Helena began her studies of magic at a very early age during her time in Mordheim under the guidance of Herr Schtiller, one of Vlad's trusted acolytes, after which she then received a thorough schooling at the von Carstein court. While she wasn't the brightest of students Helena has learned a wide array of magic and with a natural incline towards fire she is capable of conjuring devastating spells.

Basically she was now schooled in Vlad's court instead of being self-taught. It's just a fluff change with no effects on any stats. I hope you won't mind. :)

Graveclaw had better watch out for Helena now. Does she even know what 'no' means? I mean, she's Carstein, but this determined to get Graveclaw as a pet? And how do you get away with having something that big as a pet?

Edit: I am also not entirely surprised, given her personality, she is a Fire mage. I like Wizards with personality reflecting magic, as with cold and manipulative/tricky Niklaus the Living Shadow, and cold and authoritive Karl the Ice mage.

Even someone as far-gone and uncouth as Graveclaw can have a moment of weakness, then BAM; on goes the leash and collar. And the saddle and the stirrups!

I don't know whether the imagery would be hilarious or ridiculous. And I simply can't imagine Graveclaw being 'broken' like a horse. He's a proud child of Ushoran, not some unintelligent mount!

Well, I know that, but still, he's proud, and he does have Strigoi strength. And he's very independent. Good luck, Helena.

Edit: Maybe a very strong collar? Then how would she stay on a massive beast rolling and rocking and jerking to get her off? I think she's bitten off more than she can chew.

Graveclaw can bend Gromril given enough time which is the strongest metal in the setting, he wouldn't do what Helana says purely because she is a Vampire, pride has nothing to do with it

Right. But either way Helena would have a tough time. of course this is all theory because Helena thinks she does have a plan. I will be interested to see what it is.

The character list has just been updated to reflect the changes that have happened over the past few months to the TVC II. Have a look at it if you're interested in analysing how much RP activity is really happening in the TVC II.

Next up, I'll be dealing with some as of yet unapproved bios.

*bows down and worships graveclaw* oh how far you've come. since... uhh the new guy I still remember you as. *squints at post-o-meter*
