There might be reinforcements coming in anyway. As I understood it, this is something to do until DoN shows up.

(dread king, you can remove the bit from notes in Zoe's bio, leave it as a surprise ok?)
Lucifer said:Well amother way of describing it is can you imagine her being more agile, equally strong etc than a vamp lord in the table top version of the game? That's effectively what you're saying. Humans are weaker in the game, but hey make up for it in their capacity to build things

I honestly fail to see your point.
I certainly was not saying that I could imagine a witch hunter being as strong as a vampire lord.
Mind you I could just be missing your point
I was just commenting that a "quick" type human fighter would probably have lower raw strength and speed than the average vamp lord but would probably make up for it with skill (all the tricks in the witch hunter handbook or whatever)

I was agreeing with you, and the "you" referred to Dread. There's no way a human can be faster and as strong as a vampire lord![]()

She was not as strong as a vampire lord originally. She was strength 4, but iagree that was still too strong. I have toned her down quite a bit now, explained her magical skill in her history and cut out the spoiler. Please leave further feedback so that I can get instant approval from Simon or Don when they decide to post.
The Dread King said:Nope, she's technically an amateur, but she's pretty good at witch hunting. And yeah, her magical teaching was kind of illegal, so she only uses it in emergencies or when she is not in danger of being arrested. It is known that she has skill but it is never mentioned, it's just one of those things that everyone knows about but nobody talks about in the Empire.
Good idea get, I'll make that change now.
I just thought that this would be a good place to introduce her in the roleplay.
Edit: can I bring in some reinforcements for the humans? Morturion wants to kill something more than bog standard humans.![]()
goulking88 said:as for magic no you can't just decide to be a wizard without making a deal with chaos or doing what nagash did and start mixing warpstone into your drink but that might not work you might just end up spawned. and not everybody born with magic knows it unless your in bretonnia then the fey enchantress comes for you and takes you away no ifs and buts about it in the empire you might not find out you got magic but weird stuff will keep happening around you. dwarf runes can only be put on none living things armor and weapons and stuff flesh cannot handle the power of runes, also dwarves don't really hand out rune weapons and armor to everyone who helps them out the last person who did was Sigmar
The Dread King said:I've left the demigryphs to you, Get, so I probably won't post again IC until Dieter's had some fun.

) but a quick look at the grail knight from their armybook... Any ideas what it means by the grail granting them strange gifts? Cause I'm honestly not sure... Looking at the units tabletop abilities all that really seems to be different between them and questing knights is an improved speed and ability with a blade, and then being counted as magical. This is excluding the lance and great weapon, and also the auto-vow but I don't feel either of those would be strange gifts from the lady of the lake... the vow thing just means they are very big on always praying to the lady before battle, and the lance thing is just them being able to use a lance again after losing it with the questing vow... Am I over thinking things here? I may just be jealous of everyone else throwing around fireballs and the like, though I guess I did make my character a bretonnian to be different... So I did ask for it... And now I'm rambling...
