The exercise did get signalled to start when the door opened and they moved into the room

Perhaps it would be an idea to sort out some kind of scouting protocol?
I.e.
1)Sarge scan's the next area
2)See what auspex discovers
3)Move accordingly
4)Shoot/Assault any enemies
5)Assume defensive positions, ready to move to next area
How does that sound?

Somehow I missed the part that there was more than one room. Ill suggest relatively standard building clearing strategy. Split the squad rougly into two halfs, one on each side of the door. Throw in one or two dummy frag grenades, before the squads sweep into the rooms weapons raised ready to shoot any survivors.
Keeping the snipers at the rear of the formation, keeping overwatch back towards where we came from. Untill ordered to engage the enemy. Might not be smartest to keep the snipers to the rear, since there guns are equal good if not better than lasguns even in enclosed short and medium ranged firefights.

Ah, I thought we'd need to defend while attacking, hence my covering position. Okay then, looks I'm gonna need to move. I am going to go to where Raizi is now is now, in order to get better line pf sight through the door, if that's all good with you Anilar. After all, I don't want to go rushing into the face of the enemy where the missiles will kill us all!
OK, I guess I'm gonna spend my superior initiative doing...absolutely nothing. You guys can go ahead and get the party started, I'll sit here and chew my capsicum first 
I don't agree. Sniper rifles(in this game at least) can't be fired on the move. You can't use a sniper to flank or flush out enemies in cover, and short/medium ranged firefights involve a lot of flanking and maneuvering(especially IRL). Lasguns are much better suited for such a role.
EDIT: On second thoughts, I'll just adjust my position a little. My character will leopard crawl to J11(still on top of the fuel tank), and that's it.

You don't want to um...wait for the sarge to scan the room or anything? I thought that was the plan.

1 wound. Harland needs to make a flak armour save, then I will post the guardsmen being rather alarmed at the charging demolitions expert and shooting at him in the IC thread.
Edit: for those of you who may be wondering, the map is actually already made in battle chronicler with all of the various enemies already on it, im just showing you the bits you can see, so im not actually just placing them where I feel like it as they get revealed so essentially, you are all actually playing a game of sorts against me, except I know where everything is
Also, I apologise that the graphics aren't the best, it will all improve a fair bit when I install photoshop on this new machine. At the moment I am making do with editing the batchron images in paint.

I assume the to hit and to wound rolls are the same as 40k? So BS4 would need 3+ to hit and so on?

You can take further actions yes, but in the IC thread it will all be posted more or less in the order people took the actions in here (so your shot will take place after/at the same time as the guardsmen fire at harland)

Forgot to mention, I'm perfectly fine with going after the Guardsmen. It's meant to be a reaction shot. Now, to wound:

@Chaos-Born, ill generally just follow your lead, your the shooter anyways. Why I have earlier initiative than you is a bit of a bad thing, since I would be following you and reloading you when you have fired. But just to generally speed things up, just take desicions of where we go.
I'm hoping that Ral will come across an expletive reaction from the opposing side now Fence has charged in.

What is my throwing range - I assume it will scatter and explode wherever it goes. The roll on this post is nothing official, I'm just checking if this works.
