Hello.

Started a VC army about 2 months ago and have been trolling your forums for great advice. I am new to Warhammer, but I'm having a blast thus far. I've always had an affinity for stretegy and tactics. I'm also finding I enjoy the craft as well, and painitng up an army is satisfying work.

I've got about 4 games, 9 zombies painted, and a paint concept for my skeletons so far. I am painting up a 1k army opposite a friend's O&G. Then I'll begin to work towards 2k. I've got all my 1k models, they just need paint.

Great forum here, look forward to the dialogue.

Fluffy:
Nothing special on the skeletons. Just had to figure out the rotation. Being new to the painting thing I have to do 2-3 concepts trying different things to get it right.

Ravensong here, I've been playing VC for... 3 or 4 years now, starting with the last codex, my army includes 70 skeletons, 20 GG, 9 ghouls (damn new codex), 10 black knights, 1 black coach, 1 corpse cart, 2 spirit hosts, 9 wraiths, Vlad von Carsten, 7 or 8 other vampires, 4 necros, 2 wight kings, and a few other odds and ends, all and all about 6000+ points. So far with the new codex, i've massacred everything i've played against other than woodelves and dark elves. (Ironically, those are the other two armies I play)
VC:6000+
WE:2000 points if i run a dragon
DE: 2000+ points

Thats a nice force you have there, but no Varghulfs? No Blood Knights? You could easily make that into 10,000 pts with a few Bloodies

I am 21, turning 22 in like two weeks! I live in Australia and have recently decided to start my own Vampire Counts Army! (The New Manual was irresistable)

I have been collecting Warhammer/40k miniatures for about five years, and have, only up until recently been mainly a painter. But the Lure of undeath has inspired me to put down the brush, pick up the sword... and march to war.

And none are as inspiring to me as the Vampire Counts (My favourite character being Konrad)

Anyway, and questions... feel free to ask.

I haven't been playing wahammer since... was it like 2'nd ?? I was usind rock hard dwarfs then.. lost the army and now wantet to start up again..

Been kind of loving the undead.. I only had one army in the head.. and it iwas VC.. true power...

I am old.. 34 years old and a Prof. Soldier in life.. Soon off to afganistan again.. Guess what I should paint there .. I had a old skeleton box laying around and it is my first add to my army

Hello all!

My friend just recently got me into the Warhammer universe, and for several reasons, I chose the Vampire Counts. Now, inbetween misrolling numerous spells (I am VERY unlucky) and thusly getting 'it' handed to me, I've been finishing up my brand new VC batallion.

I've been lurking this site since I got my army, and finally decided to step it up and register, so now I'm here.

I ahve already seen Iraq.. and I prefere Iraq.. but it is a soldiers point of wiew.. I will paint my army in Afganistan when I have the time.. and add pictures to a home page I am making.. withpic of army and life in camp..

lets see if I can beat my friends with this army... I am up against dwarfs, Orc's, empire, Dark elves, Lizardmen and skavens.. so I can feel it all.. kind of funny.. no ones are playing wood elfs. ( I have forrest.. elves hides in them, them Wuzzes..)
