Yeah I go to Leeds every home footie game even though it's a long journey taking about 2.5 to 3 hrs to get there (and same back) but it's worth it as it's a family thing.
btw the wife n 2 kids was just from a yorkshire rhyming thing I heard a few years ago.
Although having 2 kids at 17 would be considered pretty impressive (or foolish) by my dad and probably by MaraDoNa.

Hello to all that actually read these intros of new blood to the realms of the undead kind.
My my is Ryan, I live in Canada and am now in the process of starting yet another Games Workshop army trap and it happens to be yes, Vampire Counts.
This is an army I have thought long and hard about starting and decided to wait for the bandwagon to pass by after the new release and all the hype moved on to the newest armybook (Lizards currently). I was deciding on Tomb Kings or Vampires with this project but decided on Vampires as well, Vampires are better in my eyes and for those that remember The Lost Boys, you know why my choice is Vampires.
Armies I have played and owned are as followed: Ogre Kingdoms, Empire, Orcs and Goblins, Beasts of Chaos, Dwarfs, Wood Elves. You can see I have avoided the bandwagon very well and have now come to the conclusion it's Vampire Counts time.
I am interested in starting a magic heavy skeletal horde type army theme (hence the Tomb Kings thought) but with all the superior choices in Vampires, might need to try using a balanced list.
If anyone is able to offer me help in my quest it would be appreciated.

Yeah I was joking about the 2 kids thing it was just from a yorkshire song a friend told me. My dad didn't have 2 kids at that age but he is similiar to DoN and to him 2 kids at 17 = Sex Machine.

I live in sweden and I am 18 years old, 19 this summer.
I play Dark Elves have around 2000p but now I feel like starting up a Vampire Counts army on the side so I can get some variety in my playing. Also I love how much you can convert with the army and I played VC in 6th but sold my army to a friend.

I loved VC in 6th edition so I think of a cool mix of Blood dragon and von carstein army.
I love Grave guards new models also so I will have loads of them ^^

I'm Wildcard - a long-time ogre player (and mod over at the ogre stronghold) - with other armies being TK, DoC, and Bretts. I've been into the hobby for a little over 3 years now and seem to spend at least 1 weekend a month trotting off to warhammer world for a tournament or campaign weekend.
I enjoy all aspects of the hobby (building, converting, painting and gaming) and think thatits now time for me to get to grips with VC as opposed to simply having them be my opponents all the time
I'll be posting in the army list threads for the time being, but will get some shots of WIPs and my army when we get there over the next few months.

Hello All,
I've been collecting and painting for a while, started in 1989. I've mostly been into 40K but was recently bitten by the WFB bug again. I have to say the new chaos and vampire counts stuff is awesome! I had intended to just get a few zombies for a Mordheim warband but couldn't resist going for an army instead. The last undead model I bought was the undead liche king chariot when it came out (94?), also had the original Skeleton Army. Now that was the coolest box set ever! I just wish I hadn't sold it all in the late nineties.
These days I seem to acquire miniatures faster than I can paint them, looking forward to painting some skeletons though.

You said you bought some new zombies? Well if you still have a couple of unassembled ones you might want to enter in the "funny zombie pose competition" which I will open later today? The winners will be featured in the new CN E-zine that we just started working on.
